“You need to know that you’re going to have to put in a lot of effort. Just by signing up and going to classes you are not going to get the increase in your score that you want to see.”
“The tutors we’re great. They all had amazing personalities. The course really pushed me to reach my goal of 800.“
“There’s nothing out there like it, I would say. When I was looking for tutors, at first, I tried maybe one or two other people, like, just individual tutors, and there’s nothing like you guys.”

Yes. The problems covered in the math section are identical on both the digital and paper-based tests. The main difference will be the format, some of the wording, and the fact that the students can leverage a calculator for the entire test. We had already began making the necessary adjustments to ensure that our prep courses account for them before the format changed, and we will continue to make updates as we learn more.
This is a common question we get, with many parents and students worried about the engagement level in a 4-hour, virtual, group tutoring environment, especially with the experience we all had with the pandemic.
They have a hard time believing their child will be able to sit through 4 hours of anything. And if they were in our classes just passively taking notes, that would be a valid concern.
But rest assured that we conduct our virtual group classes in a unique manner that is very different from what was experienced during “virtual school” during the pandemic. The combination of small groups (average of 5 students) and the Zoom meeting technology allows us to engage the students in a way that makes it more focused and personalized than in-person group tutoring.
Don’t take our word for it, though; you can check out what some of our students had to say about the 4-hour classes by clicking here, and what they had to say about the virtual group tutoring environment by clicking here.
Yes, our teachers not only make sure to go over every question in class, but they also have students send in their responses for every practice question privately.
This way, without the student even having to ask, the tutor is aware of any confusion the student may have based on the answer they submit. This allows the tutor to address the issue by having the student walk them through step-by-step what they did, 1-to-1.
If the student still has any unanswered questions or doubts, or if they have a question that comes to mind after class is over, they can either reach out in their private group chats, stay after class, or attend office hours to get that issue resolved.
Our teachers are former Peace of Pi Learning™ students who excelled in our prep course, increasing their math score by 100+ points and ultimately getting into their dream schools (UF, Rice, George Washington, NYU, etc). They are young, energetic, and uniquely relatable. They also all have hundreds of hours of tutoring experience and a strong understanding of how our program works, making them the most qualified instructors for our program.
It’s actually pretty rare that a student doesn’t get along with their tutor because our instructors are former successful students that are young, relatable, and have hundreds of hours of tutoring experience.
In fact, it’s our experience that whenever we have a mismatch between tutor and student, the issue usually has less to do with the student not getting along or not understanding the tutor, and more to do with the group either being too advanced or too low for that student. Whenever that happens we actually tend to make the adjustment within the same class to make sure the student is placed in the correct group level for their needs.
“I was actually kind of scared to reach out at first. Just a tip for anybody that is scared to, just trust your gut instinct and reach out…I guarantee you your score is going to improve.”
“I think this program is amazing. You need to put in the effort with practicing. And it might seem annoying and redundant of doing the same thing over and over again, but that’s what really helped me improve. It’s worth it if you put in the effort.”
“We are amazed for your program and then your professionalism and the teamwork that is behind your group. They were very helpful, very knowledgeable. And not only helped Julian on the SAT, but I think overall in his math.”
“The teachers that I had were very outgoing and they made the class more fun. I still use everything learned throughout the course in my current math classes.”
“The service was great. I went up 130 points. I was able to receive 75% Florida Bright Futures and Piece of Pi gave me the right guidance. Like I told everybody, you do the work, you get the result.”
“It’s so well organized that you don’t really have to do anything, you just have to do what they tell you.”
“Sometimes it can be a lot, but I feel like you just have to really manage your time with that. And it does pay off at the end. Getting a 1410 really made the stress go down and [helped me] feel more secure.”
“I was talking to people and they told me, yo, if you want to get the best score possible, you need to do a Peace of Pi Learning”
“The reality is that the SAT does matter a lot, especially in Florida, so that getting that score just like made me feel relieved and made me gain my confidence back.”
“It’s probably the best things that’s ever happened to me and i would love to show this all around the world.”
“It’s very rigorous and you’re going to have to sacrifice time, but I think the numbers speak for themselves.”

“[The prep course] made me realize that you could achieve a lot if you just put work into it”
“I would describe the course as surprisingly interactive.”
“I thought it would be a lot less interactive but it was a real class with 5 students and the teacher would randomly call on you to make sure you’re paying attention”
“We would have to submit our answers through the chat. The questions we got wrong during the lessons was the homework we got.”
“It reduced my stress from going into senior year, it’s one thing that I don’t have to worry about.”
“It’s a lot of work that you have to put in and alot of time that you need to put in, but it ends up being super worth becuas you will improve, you will.”
“It takes a lot of practice and paying attention, but what can come out of that compensates for all the hard work that you’ve involved in the program”
“It is proven that if you put in the work, [The Course’s] method does work and you will see results.”
“You guys make it pretty easy for us by giving us all the assignments. When it is all laid out for us we just have to do it.”
“Don’t be discouraged by the fact that its 4 hourse on the computers because it’s fun and you actually learn”
“I would describe it as a lot of work, but work that pays off at the end.”
“It was very engaging. You get put in a group depending on your level so everyone was going at the same pace.“
“I think the homework’s we’re very homework. Just to practice different types of questions.”
“There is specific skills that you need for the SAT and during tutoring the tutors targeted these skills that I was lacking.”
“It for sure helped me and it will help me pay for my college. Just give it your all because that’s the only way you’re going to see the results.“
“The way the course is set up is like everything is perfectly planned out to be through Zoom. It kind of has you to be always focused.”
“It’s a lot more dynamic. What you guys do in your online classes it’s like there is no time to be falling asleep.”
I feel like the best thing you guys do is you guys don’t teach us tricks, Like, you teach us the material so we can then put it into practice.”
