My name is Julian Morales, and I’m a junior at Riviera Preparatory School. Before I found you Peace of Pi, I was struggling to get my math scores where I needed them for college. I scored a 560 on my first SAT attempt in math, which made me realize I needed to improve. I was trying to prep by myself, taking notes from my critical thinking class, but was having extra trouble in Algebra 2-related questions.
Before reaching out, I received recommendations from friends Diego and Yamila who found the program beneficial for achieving high scores. So, I figured I’d give it a shot. I mean, I was aiming for colleges like FSU, UF, UNC, and Ohio State, and I knew I had to up my game. I knew I needed scores in the 700s to get into my dream schools.
The virtual tutoring experience really worked for me. I already preferred the convenience of online tutoring anyway, and knew that it would allow me to focus more without having to go to a place. My instructor, Cori, always provided clear explanations. The online setup was convenient, and the workload, though significant, proved worthwhile.
The homework was a lot at times, but really essential for getting the score I ended up with. Everything paid off, and I raised my score from 560 to 790! My excitement of surpassing my goals woke up my whole family when I found out! They were so proud of me, especially for qualifying for the Bright Futures scholarship.
This program not only helped with the SAT but also improved my overall math skills, especially with graphs, something I always struggled with in class. For future test-takers, I’d say to be committed. Understand that your dedication to the program will get you positive outcomes. Thanks to this program, I’ve achieved a score that has taken away a lot of pressure and opened new opportunities for me. I’m grateful for the experience and the dedicated team behind it.
