Bridgette Huerta
+190 in Math
“Peace of Pi truly helped me realize my potential, and I’m now more confident in tackling any academic challenge that comes my way!”
My name is Bridgette Huerta, and I’m an 11th grader at Florida Christian. I’ve always excelled in math, consistently earning A’s in my classes. However, despite my strong math skills, I struggled significantly with the SAT math section. My low PSAT scores were a clear indicator that I needed help, and that’s when I discovered Peace of Pi Learning.
Initially, I was skeptical about the virtual group learning environment, but it turned out to be highly effective. The convenience of not having to commute and the comfort of studying from home were significant advantages. The group setting was beneficial because all of us were at a similar level, so the questions and challenges we faced were common to everyone. This created a collaborative and supportive learning atmosphere.
The program wasn’t easy by any means, but neither is the SAT. It required a lot of dedication and hard work. I had to sacrifice social outings and commit to completing all the practice material and homework. At the end of the program, all those sacrifices paid off tremendously. My math score improved from 500 to 690. Those +190 points on the SAT Math transformed my college applications, and my confidence!
One crucial piece of advice I would give to anyone considering this program is not to procrastinate. Initially, I put off my homework, thinking I could catch up later, but this approach only made things harder. It’s much more manageable to do a little each day rather than cramming at the last minute.
The improvement I saw in my scores was a testament to the effectiveness of the Peace of Pi program. It’s challenging but incredibly rewarding. For any student serious about improving their SAT math score, this program is worth the effort. Just remember, you have to put in the work.
Peace of Pi truly helped me realize my potential, and I’m now more confident in tackling any academic challenge that comes my way. If you’re considering this program, be prepared to work hard, but know that the results will be worth it.
