+160 in Math
“I’m so glad I joined Peace of Pi, and I’m excited about what’s next for me!”
I decided to join Peace of Pi Learning after seeing that my friends were ahead of me with their SAT scores. I had been doing ACT tutoring throughout my junior year, but my score wasn’t improving. My friends kept telling me to switch to the SAT, saying I might do better, but I kept doubting myself. It was only when I found Peace of Pi that I finally decided to give it a shot.
I really want to attend a Florida school like UF or FSU since I have Florida Prepaid, and a higher SAT score would increase my chances of getting in and qualifying for Bright Futures. I was always pretty good at math, but I found myself struggling with topics from previous years, like Algebra 1 and 2. Peace of Pi helped me relearn those concepts, which really boosted my confidence and improved my skills.
I was nervous about the virtual group learning experience at first, but my friends reassured me that it was a small group and that I’d be fine. The classes were super interactive, and the teachers made sure we all participated, which helped me stay engaged. I took the course over the summer, and I would definitely recommend that to other students. Without school and extracurriculars to worry about, I could focus just on SAT prep and balance my social life easily.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, my math score went from 520 to 680 with a 160-point increase! I’m happy with it, but I’m aiming for even higher and plan to take the SAT again soon, reaching for a 700 to get a 1400 overall. This improvement has opened up many possibilities for me, and I feel more hopeful about attending the universities I want.
My advice for other students is to take SAT prep seriously and give it your all. If you’re willing to put in the work and balance your time, you’ll see great results. I’m so glad I joined Peace of Pi, and I’m excited about what’s next for me!
