+150 on the SAT Math!

“Every assignment, no matter how small, contributed to my success.”

My situation was simple: I wanted a really good SAT score and felt that tutoring would be more effective than self-studying. I had heard great things about Peace of Pi, and after seeing all the improvements they helped other students achieve, decided to give it a shot.

Before starting the program, I was already strong in math, but the SAT was a different challenge. It wasn’t just about knowing the math; it was about mastering the tricks and strategies to solve problems efficiently. My biggest frustration with the SAT was how tricky the questions could be. The math itself wasn’t hard for me, but the program gave me so much practice that by the time the actual test came around, I knew exactly what to expect.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the virtual group sessions, but they completely exceeded my expectations. I thought it might be hard to stay engaged, especially since I struggled with Zoom classes during COVID, but Peace of Pi was different. The sessions were interactive, engaging, and kept me connected the whole time.

The course was definitely intense—there was a lot of work to put in—but it was worth it. The tutors were incredible at breaking down problems and teaching the strategies that made all the difference. Every assignment, no matter how small, contributed to my success.

The results speak for themselves. My math score improved by 150 points, going from a 640 on the PSAT to a 790 on the SAT. I couldn’t be happier with that score, and I know it’s going to be a huge help when I apply to top colleges. This score has also put me on track for Bright Futures, which is an amazing relief.

If I had one piece of advice for other students, it would be to stay consistent with the program. Don’t skip any assignments or slack off because every little bit of practice helps. Peace of Pi gives you all the tools you need to succeed—you just have to put in the effort.

I’m super happy with my experience, and I’d recommend Peace of Pi to anyone serious about improving their SAT score. They don’t just help you get a better score—they teach you how to approach the test with confidence.
