+90 points on the SAT Math!

“The program was also super personalized—rather than going over topics I already knew, they focused on the areas where I needed the most help.”

I always knew I wanted to improve my SAT score but wasn’t sure where to start. Peace of Pi was strongly recommended by some of my classmates, so I decided to give it a shot! Looking back from where I stand with my SAT score now, I’m really glad I took their advice.

I’ve always been strong in math at school, but when I took the SAT, I realized I had forgotten a lot of older concepts. My biggest challenges were time management and recalling material I hadn’t used in years. At first, I worried about balancing the prep with my soccer schedule, but I figured out a routine. I used free periods at school to finish homework, which gave me more time to focus on SAT practice at home.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the virtual format, but it turned out to be way more engaging than I thought. Unlike typical Zoom classes, where it’s easy to zone out, Peace of Pi kept me actively involved. The tutors made sure we were always participating, and even the four-hour classes flew by.

One thing I really liked was how relatable the tutors were. Since they’re close in age, they understand exactly what it’s like to take the SAT. I never felt intimidated asking questions, and I knew they genuinely wanted us to improve. The program was also super personalized—rather than going over topics I already knew, they focused on the areas where I needed the most help. That made a huge difference, and my math score jumped from 620 to 710.

My dad also liked the structure of the program. He saw that it wasn’t just some generic course where students are left to figure things out on their own. The tutors gave detailed feedback and made sure we actually understood our mistakes so we could fix them.

Looking back, Peace of Pi was 100% worth it. I feel a lot more confident now, and I know I can keep improving. My advice to anyone thinking about taking the course? They give you everything you need to succeed, but you have to put in the effort. If you do the work, you’ll see the results.
