+120 points on the SAT Math!

“I’d give the program a 10 out of 10. You will see results if you put in the effort.”

Before joining Peace of Pi, I was doing pretty well in math…I even thought it was one of my strongest subjects. But after taking the SAT a few times, I realized my score just wasn’t moving. I was stuck in the 600s and couldn’t seem to break into the 700s, even though I knew I had the potential. I’d tried self-studying and other tutors before, but they mostly helped with the basics. I still couldn’t figure out the hard questions, and time management was a huge issue for me.

I decided to try Peace of Pi because I wanted to know I had done everything I could to get the highest score possible. I had heard from classmates that it was going to be a lot of work, so I went in prepared. There were moments when I couldn’t finish all the homework during the week, but I made sure to catch up later. The week before the test, I really grinded and finished everything. That consistency helped me a lot. The repetition and constant practice made a huge difference. I felt like by the end, I wasn’t missing any questions.

At first, I was a little worried about the 4-hour classes and the virtual setting, but honestly, the time flew by, and it ended up being super convenient. I liked that I didn’t have to travel anywhere. I could just roll out of bed and be in class. And even though the tutors are close to our age, I actually think that’s a good thing. They just took the SAT, so everything’s fresh in their minds. They really knew their stuff and helped make everything click.

Peace of Pi helped me raise my math score by 120 points, from a 670 to a 790. That’s huge. I qualified for 100% Bright Futures, and now I’m starting to apply for scholarships and feeling way more confident heading into college apps.

If you’re thinking of joining Peace of Pi, my advice is: don’t do it unless you’re ready to give it 100%. If you’re going to invest your time and money, you need to actually commit. But if you do, it’s absolutely worth it. I’d give the program a 10 out of 10. You will see results if you put in the effort.
