There’s no getting around it: the best way to prep for the test is to take the test. There’s only so many actual example tests that have been released, so we’ll be spacing them strategically as a way to measure and direct progress.
SAT PREP
Private TutoringHow to Crush the SAT
I still get nervous when I take the SAT, but by taking the test multiple times while replicating the testing environment as much as possible, particularly, by taking it timed, those nerves can be channeled from debilitating to elevating, lending heightened focus. It’s critical to develop a sense of time management, of how long the test should take, and of how long each problem should take, so that instead of getting bogged down in a troubled section, we can learn the wisdom of moving on, of apportioning time for afterwards.
This is imperative and often neglected; there’s a tendency to say “yeah, I get it now” and gloss over a review to get to new content, but before walking away from a problem we got wrong, we should know all of its ins and outs, so that we emerge stronger and more well-rehearsed in our former weaknesses than even those topics which come easy to us.
This is a math test: there’s no sense in missing a math problem over its wording, but this often happens, and by design; College Board loves to trip students up by confusing wording and vocabulary, but they do so formulaically, so this is an easy fix. We’ll cover every way that the SAT poses a question, and drill each kind of question over and over again so that you won’t be wondering about what they’re asking when you’re taking the test, but instead focusing on the task at hand: solving the problem.
There’s usually a “trick” hidden in plain-sight on the Math section of the test, particularly within the more difficult sections of the SAT. From understanding how to eliminate answer choices, to working backwards from answer choices, to knowing when to plug a number into the equation, learning to recognize and execute these maneuvers helps us to not get fooled or bogged down by any one problem, but to get through the test in a timely manner, allowing more time to check your answers at the end. These tricks also often double as a great way to verify answers. Having more than one way to solve a problem up your sleeve is a great way to make sure you haven’t made a simple mistake.
While SAT Math tricks are valuable and must be learned, their execution is often based on the prior understanding of some mathematical concept. Math is foundational, building upon itself in layers of understanding: our course systematically walks through every subject that the SAT tests: Arithmetic, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Data and Statistics, and some of the basics of Trigonometry.
This is the core factor in how we tailor our approach: every step of the way is diagnostic: we’ll be there to guide you out of the seeming jungle of confusion and uncertainty that can lurk within the SAT, making of it a stepping stone that can help pave a pathway to success.
Leave no stone un-turned. Since Math builds upon itself, brick by brick, the systematic approach will ensure that the learning proceeds seamlessly from subject to subject: if you try to learn things out of order, there’s a high probability of it taking a lot longer to learn a concept, or of introducing unnecessary confusion into the mix. Every section and subject can have an especially easy or hard problem, so though most of your time spent in review will focus on improving upon individual weaknesses, enough time must be allocated to working with the most difficult problems within every subject and section, so that even your strengths will be strengthened.
You’ll be glad you spent the time to memorize a formula or concept when it proves the key to unlocking a problem, and a higher score, come test day.
Enough said. We’ve assembled the guide: all you have to do is put in the work. That’s all it takes to CRUSH the SAT.

The more practice exams they take, the better their performance will be on test day. Students will be given 5-8 exams throughout the course, but by no means are limited to only these, but may take as many as necessary as motivated by their individual need and desire. Highly motivated students are in luck, as we offer more former exams than a typical prep course.
We provide students with the printed exam, a bubble sheet, and replicate the testing environment and its stressors as much as possible, seating students as they would be seated on the test, and furthermore, instruct our students in testing nuances such as how to bubble decimals and fractions correctly on the scantron before they enter the testing environment.
All practice exams have written solutions enumerating all the steps required to solve each problem. 10 practice exams have video solutions for every question on the test in addition to the written solutions mentioned above, as well as a directory showing where students can find additional content to practice with, powered by our online database.
We provide students with a glossary containing all vocabulary pertinent to the SAT Math, with corresponding worksheets to test and apply the knowledge of these terms, as well as study guides containing every kind of question on the SAT Math, addressing tricky wording, common pitfalls in comprehending what the question is asking you, and worksheets in which to engrain this understanding.
We provide study guides containing all the most helpful tips and tricks and test taking strategies for the SAT Math, with complementary worksheets to perfect these skills, as well as other such supplemental material, such as calculator guides and testing confidence guides.
We provide 24 hours of pre-recorded lectures outlining every concept tested in the SAT Math through a systematic course that builds upon itself, preceding logically from the most foundational mathematical concepts to the test’s most difficult concepts.
At the start of the course we have students take an initial practice test consisting of one official former SAT Math test in its entirety, in addition to our own proprietary general math diagnostic to assess each student’s strengths and weaknesses and holes in a student’s understanding. Those gaps in fundamental mathematical concepts often lie at the root of poor performance on the SAT.
These practice tests and diagnostics also direct them to further practice problems arranged by section within the online database. Every section has easy, medium, and hard problems, so students can practice at whatever level they’re at. Further diagnostic sessions continue throughout the course.
We provide a study guide and quizlet (digital flash cards) containing all the most important formulas for the test.
We provide study guides containing all the most helpful tips and tricks and test taking strategies for the SAT Math, with complementary worksheets to perfect these skills, as well as other such supplemental material, such as calculator guides and testing confidence guides.
We’ve assembled the guide; all you have to do is put in the work. We do our homework—we are thoroughly familiar and stay up-to-date with the exam—our owner, master tutor, and lead curriculum developer, Renan De Souza, has been taking the test regularly since August 2017, scoring a perfect 800 on the Math section 9 times. All of our tutors are required to regularly take the exam and score above a 700 on the Math. We are constantly creating new material and updating old material based on minor shifts and trends we notice on recent exams.

Alice Silva

“The program pushed me to stay on top of my studies, and it taught me the importance of time management.”
My name is Alice Silva, and I’m a 12th-grade student at School for Advanced Studies. Before joining Peace of Pi, I realized that my SAT math score needed a lot of improvement. I hadn’t studied algebra or geometry since middle school, and although I was taking calculus, many of the foundational math concepts felt distant. I had a 610 in math, which wasn’t enough for my goal of 100% Bright Futures. I wanted to give myself the best chance possible to succeed at that and to feel confident applying to top schools like UF, especially since their SAT requirements had become more competitive.
Before the program, I generally understood math well but had forgotten a lot of the specific material I needed for the SAT. Certain topics, like percentage questions, trigonometry, and pre-calculus, were difficult, and I struggled with them the most. I knew I needed more than just a quick refresher—I needed a structured program to really reinforce these areas.
When I first started the course, I had an idea of what to expect because I had a friend who had already done Peace of Pi during the school year. However, I definitely underestimated how intense it would be, especially since I took the course over the summer. There was a lot of homework, practice tests, and weekly meetings, and it required me to stay disciplined and manage my time well. It was tough, especially balancing it with summer travel, but I was committed.
The virtual group learning experience was better than I expected. I worked with three different tutors throughout the course, and all of them were excellent. They explained every concept clearly and made sure we fully understood the material before moving on. They were attentive and always available to help if I had any questions. I appreciated how straightforward and easy-to-understand their explanations were, which made a big difference when tackling challenging topics.
After completing the course, my math score jumped from 610 to 770—a 160-point improvement! My overall SAT score also increased from 1270 to 1410, which is something I’m really proud of. Thanks to that improvement, I now qualify for 100% Bright Futures, which is a huge relief, and I feel much more confident about applying to schools like UF.
Looking back, the hard work was definitely worth it. The program pushed me to stay on top of my studies, and it taught me the importance of time management. My advice to other students would be to understand that it’s going to be a big commitment. You have to put in the work, ask questions when you’re stuck, and trust the process. In the end, all the homework, quizzes, and practice tests will pay off!
Austin Otero

“The work is manageable if you spread it out, and it really helps in the end. For other students, I’d say the biggest thing is to stay consistent. Try to do a little bit every day, even if it feels like a lot.”
Hi, my name is Austin Otero. I’m a senior at Palmetto Senior High School. Before joining Peace of Pi, my SAT math score wasn’t improving at all. I had taken the test multiple times, and I even went down in one of my scores. I was frustrated because I felt like I was doing well, but my score kept coming back lower than what I needed. I was getting below a 1300 overall, and I knew I needed to improve to be competitive for schools like Cornell and other top colleges. That’s when I realized I needed tutoring.
I was initially hesitant about the virtual group learning environment because I expected it to be like the online school experience during COVID, which wasn’t engaging at all… but it was totally different. The tutors made sure that everyone participated. If you got a question wrong, they would go over it with you individually until you understood it. That made a huge difference because it forced me to really learn the material, not just skim through it.
The course was a lot of work—there’s definitely a good amount of homework—but it paid off in the end. I went from a 610 in math to a 730, which is a 120-point improvement! This result has put me in a much better position for my college applications, and now I feel more confident about getting the score I need.
For other students, I’d say the biggest thing is to stay consistent. Try to do a little bit every day, even if it feels like a lot. Don’t wait until the last minute and try to cram it all in. The work is manageable if you spread it out, and it really helps in the end. I’m really grateful for the support and the structure that Peace of Pi gave me—it helped me get the results I needed!
Angeline Fuxa
+120 in Math
“I’ve never really been a math person, but the course taught me a lot! The tutors were amazing, and I couldn’t have done it without them!”
My name is Angeline Fuxa, and I took the Peace of Pi SAT prep course in May/June. What made me realize I needed this service was my PSAT score of 450, which is below what I had hoped for. I knew I needed people to actively help me with math because teaching myself wasn’t going to cut it.
I needed a higher score to apply to schools like Duke University, but there’s a lot of geometry and Algebra 1 on the SAT, and at the time, I was taking pre-calc, so I didn’t remember much of that information. Before the prep, I started getting better at math when I took Algebra 2 in sophomore year, but the SAT includes topics I hadn’t been good at.
I’ve never really been a math person, but the course taught me a lot. It helped me think outside the box, and now, I find geometry and algebra much easier. Before tutoring, I was clueless—I had a 560 in math, and I guessed on almost every question. But after the course, I actually knew how to answer.
I didn’t have high expectations for virtual group learning, but I was pleasantly surprised. I liked that you had to have your camera on and that everyone had to participate. The engagement was key to learning.
One thing I’d tell any student considering the course is that you’ll have to put in a lot of work. There’s a lot of homework and practice exams, but it’s worth it. I used every bit of free time—at a friend’s house, in between classes, at the library—to focus on the course. Because of that, my math score increased by 120 points, from 560 to 680. It’s given me a lot of hope, and I believe I can push it into the 700s. The tutors were amazing, and I couldn’t have done it without them.
Paula Cohen

“Thanks to Peace of Pi, I achieved a 230-point increase, ultimately scoring an 800 in math. This program truly helped me achieve my goals, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their SAT scores.”
Hi, I’m Paula Cohen, a junior at Krop. When I first took the PSAT, I was shocked to see a score of 570 in math, especially since math had always been my strength. Realizing I needed at least a 700 to apply to my dream colleges, I knew I had to find a program that could help me achieve my goals. That’s when I found Peace of Pi.
Before joining Peace of Pi, I tried studying on my own using Khan Academy, but I struggled to create an effective study plan and stay consistent. I quickly realized that I needed guidance from experts who truly understood the SAT. After hearing positive feedback from my classmates, I decided to give Peace of Pi a try, despite some initial doubts about the virtual group environment.
To my surprise, the virtual classes were incredibly engaging. The small group setting and the interactive approach, where we had to answer questions and explain our reasoning, kept me focused and made the four-hour sessions fly by. The tutors at Peace of Pi were amazing and reliable, always ready to answer any questions and provide detailed explanations for every problem.
The program required a lot of hard work, it was kind of like taking an extra AP class, but it was entirely worth it. By dedicating time daily, managing my schedule well, and staying consistent with my practice, I saw a tremendous improvement. The practice exams were particularly beneficial, allowing me to track my progress and identify areas that needed more attention.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, I achieved a 230-point increase, ultimately scoring an 800 in math. This score has opened doors for me to apply to all the colleges I aspire to attend, and I’m relieved to have completed the SAT early in my junior year. My advice to other students is to start studying as early as possible and to be willing to put in the necessary effort. With dedication and the right support, significant improvement is possible.
I’m incredibly grateful to the team at Peace of Pi, especially my tutor, Mars, for her guidance and support throughout this journey. This program truly helped me achieve my goals, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their SAT scores. Thank you, Peace of Pi!

“Peace of Pi is nothing short of 100% effective!”
My name is Michelle Bethencourt and I go to Archbishop McCarthy. Before joining Peace of Pi’s SAT Prep Course, I wasn’t seeing the growth I was looking for in my SAT math score. Math has never been my strongest subject, and I was having a hard time finding effective ways to study. It was frustrating to encounter questions on the test that I knew I had learned before but couldn’t remember how to solve.
I found out about Peace of Pi through a friend whose score had dramatically improved, and I was really impressed. Despite being nervous about the virtual and group learning environments—especially since I had tried similar setups before with little success—I decided to give it a try.
Peace of Pi is nothing short of 100% effective! The tutors are incredibly dedicated, making the classes engaging and keeping your attention throughout. The virtual learning environment turned out to be more focused than I expected, and the group setting was surprisingly beneficial.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, I increased my math score by 90 points, which raised my overall SAT score from 1210 to 1390. This improvement helped me qualify for full Bright Futures, relieving a significant amount of stress as I head into my senior year.
Hayden Hughes

“The course offered thorough check-ups and clear explanations whenever I had questions, which made a big difference!”
My name is Hayden Hughes, and I’m a senior at Archbishop McCarthy High School. I took the Peace of Pi SAT prep course in the spring of 2024 because my math score wasn’t improving, even after trying multiple study programs and tutors. My score was only fluctuating by about 10 points, and none of the tips I learned seemed to stick. This was frustrating since I needed to see real progress.
A friend who had benefited from Peace of Pi recommended the program to me. I chose to enroll because I knew I needed more discipline in my study routine, something I hadn’t tried before. The course offered thorough check-ups and clear explanations whenever I had questions, which made a big difference.
I was initially concerned about the virtual learning environment, thinking I might get distracted, but the tutors kept me focused and on track. I also assumed that the group setting would make the experience less personalized, but it still felt tailored to my specific needs.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, I boosted my SAT score by 130 points. This improvement has earned me 100% Bright Futures and has set me up for a much smoother senior year.
Sebastian Romero

“This program will show you the way, but you have to walk it!”
My name is Sebastian Romero, and I’m a junior at Christopher Columbus High School. After taking the PSAT and not getting the score I wanted, I realized I needed help, especially in math. I heard about Peace of Pi from a friend on my soccer team, so I decided to give it a try. My goal was to improve my math score and secure Bright Futures by the end of my junior year, so I wouldn’t have to worry about it during senior year.
Before starting with Peace of Pi, I had tried other tutoring services but only saw minimal improvement. The virtual group learning environment with Peace of Pi was different. It was more engaging, and the results spoke for themselves. I went from only a 30-point increase with another service to improving my SAT score by 100 points after this program. That’s a huge difference!
The biggest challenge was managing all the work with my busy schedule, including soccer practice. But I made sure to complete the assignments when I was focused, not just going through the motions. The final weeks of the course were critical—reviewing everything helped me lock in the material just before the test. That effort paid off when my SAT math score increased significantly.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, I’m now relaxed about the SAT. I’ve already secured Bright Futures and feel confident about my college applications. If you’re serious about improving your score, you need to commit to the work. This program will show you the way, but you have to walk it. Don’t expect results if you don’t put in the effort. But if you do, like I did, you’ll see a big difference.

“It’s an investment that pays off, not just in terms of test scores, but in building essential study habits and discipline.”
My name is Isabella Rey, and I’m an 11th-grade student at Mast Academy. Before finding Peace of Pi, I was stuck in a frustrating cycle with my SAT Math score. Despite one-on-one tutoring, my results barely budged, and I was starting to doubt my math abilities, even though I’d always excelled in school. I was feeling defeated and unsure if I could reach the score I needed for college and scholarships like Bright Futures.
Everything changed when I started with Peace of Pi. At first, I was skeptical about virtual group learning, thinking it might not be as effective as one-on-one tutoring. But I quickly realized it was even better! The tutors were incredibly attentive and supportive, and the structured environment kept me focused. They knew exactly when I was struggling and made sure I understood each concept before moving on.
The program required a lot of dedication, and I had to prioritize my SAT prep over some schoolwork. But it was worth it. I went from a 570 in Math to a 720, and my overall SAT score jumped from 1170 to 1380! Beyond the numbers, Peace of Pi gave me peace of mind. I no longer stress about the SAT; I’ve secured Bright Futures, and I know I’m well-prepared for college.
If I could give advice to other students, it would be to not get discouraged by early practice test scores. Overprepare and trust the process. Peace of Pi works, and if you commit to it, you’ll see the results you’re aiming for!

“The structured group sessions, combined with the detailed notes and support, made a huge difference.”
My name is Nicholas Filet, and I’m a junior at Mast Academy. Before starting this course, I was struggling with the math section of the SAT. I had tried using resources like Khan Academy, but I wasn’t seeing any real improvement. Math has never been my strong suit, and I realized that without a solid foundation, I wouldn’t be able to achieve the score I needed. A good friend of mine recommended this program after seeing great results, so I decided to give it a shot.
From the start, I could tell this course was different. The structured group sessions, combined with the detailed notes and support, made a huge difference. The virtual environment allowed me to learn from others’ questions and strategies, which was incredibly valuable. The course didn’t just help me learn new material—it also reinforced the basics that I had been missing.
One of the biggest challenges for me was managing time during the test. The course helped me develop a rhythm, which was crucial. Geometry and time management were my main pain points, and the program addressed both head-on. Thanks to this, I improved my SAT math score by 150 points, bringing my total score into the 1300s. I’m now much more confident and better prepared to tackle the next steps in my academic journey.
This course isn’t easy. It requires a lot of work and dedication, but the results are worth it. If you’re willing to put in the effort, you’ll see significant improvement. My advice for anyone considering this program? Be prepared, stay organized, and fully commit. It’s a tough course, but it delivers big results.

“I quickly learned that studying for the SAT isn’t just about understanding the material—it’s about consistent practice.”
My name is Ilana Croitorescu, and I’m an 11th grader at Dr. Michael Krop High School. I started taking the SAT back in August and quickly realized my scores weren’t improving. It was frustrating, and I knew I had to change my approach if I wanted to succeed. I had been doing one-on-one tutoring, but it wasn’t giving me the results I was aiming for. I knew I could achieve a higher score, so I started looking for a new program.
That’s when I found out about Peace of Pi from my friends. They had taken the course for the October and November SATs and none of them scored below a 730 in math, with one even getting a perfect score. Hearing that, I knew I had to sign up.
The course wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. The tutors are amazing at explaining the material, but more than that, it’s about dedication and practice. The weekly assignments were a lot, but they really made a difference. I quickly learned that studying for the SAT isn’t just about understanding the material—it’s about consistent practice. The online group environment was surprisingly interactive, and even though I wasn’t sure about learning online at first, I ended up learning a lot.
My main tutor, Cori, was incredible. She kept us engaged and made sure we were always participating. Thanks to Peace of Pi, I was able to improve my math score by 90 points, reaching a 690, which was exactly what I was hoping for. This score has opened up more opportunities for me when it comes to college applications. The SAT can be challenging, but with the right preparation and mindset, you can achieve the results you want.

“My tutor, Chloe, was fantastic—she really motivated us. I also liked that I could watch solution videos whenever I got stuck.”
My name is Juliette Gonzalez, and I’m a junior at the School for Advanced Studies Kendall campus. I first realized I needed SAT tutoring when my PSAT math score dropped to 600, which was much lower than before. I tried self-study using the College Board book, but it wasn’t enough.
That’s when I turned to Peace of Pi. I heard about their services through friends, Elizabeth and Natalie, both of whom saw significant improvements in their scores after working with them. I was particularly motivated when I learned that Ellie had nearly achieved an 800 in math. Knowing that my friends had positive experiences, I decided to give it a try.
The virtual group learning environment was surprisingly effective. The sessions were well-paced, and I appreciated how personalized the homework was. My tutor, Chloe, was fantastic—she really motivated us. I also liked that I could watch solution videos whenever I got stuck.
One of the major benefits of Peace of Pi was the push to stay disciplined. The program helped me establish a routine and stick to it, even when I was tired or overwhelmed. It was a lot of work, but I knew it was worth it. The assignments were challenging, but they were also personalized to target my weaknesses, which helped me improve where I needed it most. The practice tests were another highlight—they were incredibly valuable in helping me prepare for the real thing.
Before joining Peace of Pi, I scored a 650 in math on the SAT. After the course, I improved to a 760, which was enough for Bright Futures and made me feel more confident about applying to UF. The practice tests and structured assignments helped me stay on track, and studying with friends added a fun, competitive edge. Overall, the course pushed me to stay disciplined, and it was definitely worth it.

“It’s an investment that pays off, not just in terms of test scores, but in building essential study habits and discipline.”
My name is Tara Secilmis, and I’m currently an 11th grader at Doral Academy. Preparing for the SAT was a challenging journey for me, especially when I was relying solely on book-based methods. The traditional prep books, including the College Board SAT books, weren’t effective for me. I found myself repeating mistakes without truly understanding the material, despite going through numerous practice tests.
I realized I needed a more hands-on and repetitive approach to learning. That’s when I discovered Peace of Pi. Before starting with them, I took the SAT for the first time in August and scored a 510 in Math. This was disappointing because I knew I could do better, and I needed to improve significantly to qualify for Bright Futures.
My main struggles were with timing and staying focused during the test. I would get easily distracted and never finished on time when practicing alone. Peace of Pi changed that for me. They introduced techniques like using a clock to manage my time better and encouraged me to turn off my phone to minimize distractions. This structured approach helped me improve my focus and speed.
Peace of Pi provided a supportive and interactive learning environment, even through Zoom sessions. The tutors were amazing, creating a fun yet disciplined atmosphere that kept me engaged. They were not only knowledgeable but also genuinely cared about my progress, always checking in on how I was doing both academically and personally.
The intensive program at Peace of Pi was demanding but incredibly effective. It taught me valuable skills like time management and responsibility, which were crucial given my busy junior year schedule. Although it meant sacrificing some personal time, including my daily naps, the results were worth it.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, my math score improved from 510 to 610, and I’m confident I’ll continue to see progress. The improvement has brought me closer to achieving my goal for Bright Futures. Peace of Pi has been instrumental in my SAT prep journey, and I highly recommend it to anyone serious about improving their scores. It’s an investment that pays off, not just in terms of test scores, but in building essential study habits and discipline.

“To my surprise, the online format worked better for me than my previous in-person tutoring. I had no complications with it, and I ended up studying much more effectively.”
My name is Nicolas Bearzi, and I’m in 11th grade at MAST Academy. I realized I needed better tutoring when I worked with another company that didn’t help me achieve my desired SAT score. Then I heard about Peace of Pi, and after seeing all their score improvements on Instagram, decided to try it out.
Although I was always better at the reading section, Peace of Pi significantly improved my math skills. Before tutoring, I was good at both reading and math, but my math performance was held back, mainly because I needed more practice. I had taken Geometry a while ago, and I needed constant reminders and repetition to recall the concepts. Peace of Pi’s exercises helped me remember and master these areas.
I needed a good SAT score to qualify for the Bright Futures Scholarship, which would help me attend college in Florida with reduced or free tuition. Achieving this score was crucial, especially since I wanted to attend UF, a top university in the state.
I learned about Peace of Pi from my friend Rodrigo Fernandez. Initially, I was skeptical about the virtual group learning environment, expecting it to be less effective than in-person tutoring. However, to my surprise, the online format worked better for me than my previous in-person tutoring. I had no complications with it, and I ended up studying much more effectively.
The virtual setup didn’t negatively impact my learning at all, if anything, it was a helpful tool. At first, I was concerned about printing papers, but then I started using my iPad for practice, which worked perfectly. The numerous practice questions were crucial, and the ability to work digitally made it easier to keep up with the workload.
In the end, Peace of Pi exceeded my expectations and provided me with the necessary support to improve my math skills and achieve a competitive SAT score. I improved my SAT math score from 610 to 760, and my overall SAT score increased from 1250 to 1400. That’s +150 points! I’m grateful for the experience and the results it helped me obtain.

“I achieved 100% Bright Futures, which means I can pay for college in Florida. This result has opened up opportunities for a better future and allows me to pursue a degree in finance!”
My name is Aldo Zambrano. I’m in 11th grade, and I attend Archbishop McCarthy High School. I’ve always been good at math, but my SAT math scores kept declining. My first SAT Math score was a 620, but then it dropped to 540. That was when I realized I needed a math tutor to help me improve.
I started taking the SAT early in my junior year. The scores I was getting were surprising to me because I was taking Calculus Honors at that time, and I expected better results based on my math skills. It was clear I needed help, especially to qualify for Bright Futures and to achieve competitive scores for colleges like UF, Georgetown, Boston College, and Boston University, which require scores in the high 1400s to 1500s.
My friend reposted Peace of Pi on Instagram, and I decided to check it out. It seemed efficient, and my friend said it was a lot of work but effective. Initially, I was skeptical about the Zoom format since I preferred in-person tutoring. However, the sessions turned out to be engaging and effective. The tutors were attentive, funny, and ensured we stayed on track with our homework.
During COVID, I struggled with online learning, especially with Geometry. With Peace of Pi, I relearned Geometry in just a couple of days. Unlike my school’s online classes during COVID, Peace of Pi provided personalized attention, making sure I understood each concept and stayed focused.
The service requires a lot of work, including about two hours of homework daily, but it’s worth it. I fit the work into my schedule by doing it during school hours whenever possible and completing the rest at home. The structured homework plan and constant reminders from tutors helped me stay on track and avoid procrastination.
The most helpful aspect of Peace of Pi was the tutors’ attention during Zoom calls, ensuring we participated and understood the material. The homework plan was also crucial, preventing me from cramming and helping me stay organized.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, my SAT math score improved from 620 to 760, and my overall SAT score went from 1260 to 1380, with a super score of 1400. I achieved 100% Bright Futures, which means I can pay for college in Florida. This result has opened up opportunities for a better future and allows me to pursue a degree in finance.

“I even found myself teaching techniques and concepts I learned to friends who were also preparing, demonstrating how effective the course had been.”
My name is Isabel Andjell, and I’m a junior at Downtown Doral Charter Upper School. I wanted to share my experience with Peace of Pi’s SAT Math tutoring service. Initially, I tried to self-study for the December SAT using Khan Academy and YouTube videos. However, I wasn’t retaining the information well, and I struggled to apply the strategies I learned.
Seeing other students preparing for the SAT over the summer made me realize I also needed to start preparing seriously. At first, I found it difficult to stay consistent and motivated studying on my own. I had scored 1250 on the December SAT, which was below my target for the universities I aimed to apply to. FSU, UMich, and UF, typically expected scores in the 1300s to 1500s.
I’ve always been better at reading than math. While I’m not terrible at math, I tend to forget concepts like algebra and geometry if I don’t use them regularly. Realizing I needed a thorough review and more practice, I turned to Peace of Pi after hearing positive reviews from friends who had taken the course.
Before starting, I expected the virtual group environment to be a lecture-style format. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how interactive and hands-on the classes were. The teachers were engaging and attentive, calling us out if we slacked off and offering immediate help if we seemed confused. This level of engagement was far better than my experience during COVID remote learning, where I could often zone out without consequences.
The service requires a strong dedication, as I often told my friends. It’s a commitment, but the effort truly pays off. By the end of the course, I felt well-prepared for the March SAT. I even found myself teaching techniques and concepts I learned to friends who were also preparing, demonstrating how effective the course had been.
In my final SAT attempt, I improved a significant 110-points from my initial score. I felt incredibly proud and accomplished with this improvement. Seeing my score increase to 580 from 690 was a significant milestone.Peace of Pi showed me that all the hard work and dedication I put into the program was worthwhile. This experience gave me confidence in my abilities and reaffirmed that with the right support and effort, I could achieve my academic goals.
Managing the workload was challenging, involving many late nights and long study sessions, but the results were worth it. I highly recommend Peace of Pi to anyone serious about improving their SAT scores. It’s tough, but if you’re willing to put in the work, the improvement is significant and rewarding.
Bridgette Huerta

“Peace of Pi truly helped me realize my potential, and I’m now more confident in tackling any academic challenge that comes my way!”
My name is Bridgette Huerta, and I’m an 11th grader at Florida Christian. I’ve always excelled in math, consistently earning A’s in my classes. However, despite my strong math skills, I struggled significantly with the SAT math section. My low PSAT scores were a clear indicator that I needed help, and that’s when I discovered Peace of Pi Learning.
Initially, I was skeptical about the virtual group learning environment, but it turned out to be highly effective. The convenience of not having to commute and the comfort of studying from home were significant advantages. The group setting was beneficial because all of us were at a similar level, so the questions and challenges we faced were common to everyone. This created a collaborative and supportive learning atmosphere.
The program wasn’t easy by any means, but neither is the SAT. It required a lot of dedication and hard work. I had to sacrifice social outings and commit to completing all the practice material and homework. At the end of the program, all those sacrifices paid off tremendously. My math score improved from 500 to 690. Those +190 points on the SAT Math transformed my college applications, and my confidence!
One crucial piece of advice I would give to anyone considering this program is not to procrastinate. Initially, I put off my homework, thinking I could catch up later, but this approach only made things harder. It’s much more manageable to do a little each day rather than cramming at the last minute.
The improvement I saw in my scores was a testament to the effectiveness of the Peace of Pi program. It’s challenging but incredibly rewarding. For any student serious about improving their SAT math score, this program is worth the effort. Just remember, you have to put in the work.
Peace of Pi truly helped me realize my potential, and I’m now more confident in tackling any academic challenge that comes my way. If you’re considering this program, be prepared to work hard, but know that the results will be worth it.

“This score has relieved my family’s financial worries and allowed me to apply for the Bright Futures scholarship.”
My name is Jason Gomez, and I turned to Peace of Pi after receiving a low math score on my SAT. Everything was going fine until I discovered that my math score was lower than I expected, which was stopping me from qualifying for the Bright Futures scholarship.
I found out about Peace of Pi through my cousin, and chose to work with them after I saw the many positive reviews and success stories from students who achieved high math scores. The service provided was excellent and supportive. The tutors always pushed me to complete the homework they assigned and stay on track for a score improvement
Initially, I didn’t have high expectations for the virtual learning experience. I thought most students wouldn’t participate and the tutor would be strict. However, when I joined the Zoom sessions, everyone was relaxed, and the tutor was incredibly nice and helpful, even when we made mistakes. The group learning environment was also very supportive, making me feel less alone. Whenever I got a question wrong, there was always someone else in the same situation, which was reassuring.
When I got my SAT results back, I achieved a 730 on the math section! This was a huge +160 point improvement from my original score of 570. This score has relieved my family’s financial worries and allowed me to apply for the Bright Futures scholarship. Thank you, Peace of Pi, for helping me achieve my goals and reducing the stress for me and for my family!

“I went into it determined to boost my SAT math score, and in the end, I did!”
My name is Miguel Barreda, and I took Peace of Pi’s SAT Math Prep Course in October. I needed the service because I wanted to meet the SAT requirement for the Bright Futures scholarship.
Before starting the course, I was scoring averagely on the math section of the SAT, but had completely forgotten some fundamental algebra concepts, which was causing me a lot of stress. My mom found Peace of Pi while looking for ways to help improve my score. Peace of Pi seemed to have the best tutors in the game, so we decided to go with their program.
I went into it determined to boost my SAT math score, and in the end, I did! I came into the virtual learning experience expecting something like an average school lecture. However, the tutors at Peace of Pi were understanding, willing to help, and focused on improving my skills, which surpassed my expectations. I initially thought the group learning environment would be just words and numbers on a screen, but it turned out to be much more interactive, involving working through homework and receiving helpful pointers.
There was a point in my journey where I was starting to feel unmotivated. I would slack off on homework and assignments, and just felt overwhelmed. Renan reached out to me, and after a motivating conversation, I felt reinvigorated with the strength to push through the second half of the program. In the end, thanks to Peace of Pi, I saw a positive result of +80 extra points on my SAT math section! This improvement means that once I take the SAT again and boost my reading score, I will qualify for the Bright Futures scholarship. This achievement has significantly reduced my stress and brought me closer to my academic goals.

“If you want a good score, you have to put in the work, and Peace of Pi provides the roadmap to achieve that.”
My name is Daisy Stein. I’m in 11th grade and I go to Dr. Michael Krop Senior High School. I struggled with algebra and geometry because my teachers weren’t great, so I didn’t learn as much as I should have. This became a problem when I took a diagnostic SAT test and got a score that I wasn’t happy with. I didn’t think studying on my own would help, so I looked for a tutoring service and heard great things about Peace of Pi Learning. I knew they were the best option for me.
I took the PSAT and didn’t score well, which was disappointing, considering I’m two years ahead in math, currently in AP Calc A/B. I realized that even though I was advanced, I missed a lot of foundational tricks and nuances in algebra and geometry. Peace of Pi helped me understand the tricky wording of the questions and what they were really asking for, which made a huge difference.
I found out about Peace of Pi from my sister’s friend, Annabelle Schiff, who got an 800 with their help. Seeing her success made me believe that if I put in the work, I could improve too. At first, I was unsure about the virtual group learning environment, especially since it involved long Zoom sessions. But it turned out to be very interactive. The tutor kept us engaged, so it didn’t feel like a boring lecture. The small group setting made learning more effective compared to a large class.
Peace of Pi kept me accountable with regular check-ins and deadlines. The tutors emphasized that doing the work was crucial, and their constant encouragement helped me stay on track. Even though it required a lot of dedication, I knew it was worth it for the results I wanted.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, I improved my SAT math score from 500 to 760, a 260-point increase! This was more than I expected, and now I feel confident about my math score. I still need to work on my reading score, but my math improvement has put me in a great position for college applications.
I highly recommend Peace of Pi Learning. It’s a significant time commitment, but if you’re dedicated and willing to put in the effort, you’ll see amazing results. My friends were initially
skeptical about the workload, but I told them that the effort is worth it. If you want a good score, you have to put in the work, and Peace of Pi provides the roadmap to achieve that.

“If you’re serious about achieving your academic goals, Peace of Pi is the way to go!”
I’m Giovanna Musiello, also known as Gio. I’m currently in the 11th grade at Gulliver Prep. I wanted to share my experience with the tutoring service that significantly helped me improve my SAT scores… Peace of Pi!
Last October or November, I took the PSAT, and my math score was much lower than I hoped for. My friends who had already started tutoring had higher scores than me, and I realized I needed to improve if I wanted to get into the colleges on my list, like Georgia Tech, Princeton, and Boston College. Even though many of these schools are test-optional, academic advisors suggested submitting a good score could still be beneficial.
I’ve never been particularly strong in math, so when I saw my PSAT score, I knew I needed help. A family friend and some other acquaintances recommended this tutoring service, and after seeing their improvements, I decided to give it a try.
Initially, I was nervous about the virtual group learning environment and the long sessions. However, after the first session, I realized it was engaging and that the format would be manageable. Unlike boring online learning during the pandemic, the tutors at Peace of Pi kept us involved and constantly engaged.
Balancing the tutoring sessions with my swimming practice and other activities was challenging. I had to meticulously schedule my time, often doing homework on the way to practice or during breaks at school. It was a lot of work, but being dedicated to the process made it possible.
The practice tests were incredibly beneficial. They helped with time management and gave me a comprehensive understanding of the test format. The mock tests for both math and English were particularly helpful, as they prepared me for the actual test environment.
When I first started, my PSAT math score was 520. After working with the tutoring service, my SAT score improved to 720, a 200-point increase! This improvement has motivated me to keep pushing myself, knowing that with hard work, I can achieve even higher scores.
Overall, Peace of Pi has shown me that dedication and hard work pay off. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their scores. It’s not easy, but the results are worth the effort. If you’re serious about achieving your academic goals, Peace of Pi is the way to go.

My name is Esteban Chiquito, and I’m a junior at Riviera. I decided to join Peace of Pi after hearing about it from a friend’s brother who had successfully completed the program. I was eager to tackle the SAT before it went online, as I heard all about how it would be more challenging. Math wasn’t my strongest subject, so I knew I’d need some guidance. I struggled especially in geometry, where I felt I lacked a solid foundation.
Before I started tutoring with Peace of Pi, I took a PSAT and scored a 1290. Although I aimed to improve my score, I knew that math wasn’t my forte. I trusted myself more with the reading portion, so I focused on perfecting my math skills with Peace of Pi.
The virtual group learning environment at Peace of Pi met my expectations and more. Their method is truly innovative, and is something I’ve never seen before. The tutors were incredibly engaging, making the sessions interactive, which helped me focus on the material.

The program provided a lot of helpful resources, such as practice tests, worksheets, and video explanations. The worksheets were particularly beneficial as they were short and focused, allowing me to understand concepts quickly without feeling overwhelmed. The tutors also personalized the sessions, making the learning experience more effective and tailored to my needs.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, my math score improved from 590 to 730, a 140-point increase! This improvement has given me the confidence to focus on other areas of my studies and has opened up opportunities for scholarships, including the potential to earn a full Bright Futures scholarship.

My name is Maria Quercia. I go to Immaculata La Salle and I’m a senior. I realized I needed the services of Peace of Pi Learning after my first SAT attempt. However, my friends assured me that the virtual group learning at Peace of Pi would be engaging, and they were right. The four-hour sessions once a week were manageable, especially with the flexibility to complete assignments on my own time.
The program’s structure was incredibly supportive. The constant check-ins and quick responses to questions were invaluable. The assignments and practice exams were challenging but essential in helping me improve. I especially appreciated the feedback on assignments, which helped me understand and remember the material better.
Peace of Pi Learning’s approach was different from my previous tutoring experience. The material adapted to my level, progressively becoming more challenging as I improved. This targeted practice was crucial for my progress. The combination of assignments, class sessions, and practice exams created a perfect learning environment. Ultimately, my math score increased from 630 to 730, and my overall SAT score went from 1350 to 1450.

If you’re debating whether to choose Peace of Pi Learning, do it. It will help you, and you won’t regret it. The program requires effort, but the results are worth it. My advice to other students is to start preparing early, do as many practice problems as you can, and manage your time effectively. Peace of Pi Learning has made a significant impact on my academic journey, and I highly recommend it.

“Peace of Pi Learning provided personalized attention and constant engagement, which made a significant difference in my learning journey.”
Hi, I’m Sofia Varela, a senior at MAST Academy. Before joining Peace of Pi Learning, my SAT scores weren’t where I wanted them to be. I realized that my initial math scores of around 460 to 500 wouldn’t cut it for the colleges I was aiming for, like UF, where the average score was at least 1300. Math was never my strongest suit, especially because I had gaps in my understanding of fundamental concepts, making it a particular challenge.
When I heard about Peace of Pi Learning from friends who were seeing results, I decided to give it a try. Despite initial hesitations about virtual learning, I found the interactive group environment to be incredibly supportive and tailored to my needs. Unlike my experiences with pandemic-era online classes, Peace of Pi Learning provided personalized attention and constant engagement, which made a significant difference in my learning journey.
The four-hour classes, especially after school, were tough, but I managed by staying organized and following the recommended study schedule diligently. Despite occasional frustrations with the workload, I found the program immensely helpful. The personalized assignments targeted my weaknesses and helped me relearn forgotten concepts, ultimately leading to a significant improvement in my math skills.
Taking the program twice—once during the school year and once in the summer—proved to be beneficial. While juggling school classes and program sessions during the year was challenging, dedicating my summer solely to SAT prep allowed me to focus entirely on the test, resulting in better outcomes.
Ultimately, my efforts paid off, and I achieved a final math score of 700, a remarkable improvement from where I started. This accomplishment not only boosted my confidence but also opened doors to opportunities like Bright Futures for Florida and increased my competitiveness in college admissions.
Reflecting on my experience, I appreciate the relentless support and guidance from the Peace of Pi Learning team. Juan Rodriguez

“Peace of Pi’s methodical, comprehensive approach is pure excellence!”
My name is Juan Rodriguez and I’m a junior at Coral Reef. Like many students, I was really anxious about the SAT math section. I watched my older sister struggle with it, going through a total of 3 different private tutors over the course of a year. None of them were able to help her score well, and it was incredibly frustrating and stressful for her and my family.
I was determined not to go through the same experience that she did, and took the PSAT my freshman year. Then as a sophomore, I still didn’t come close to the score I needed. It became evident that I would require professional tutoring if I wanted to maximize my score.
Although I was an above-average math student in my pre-calculus class, the math on the SAT was an entirely different beast. The questions were formatted and worded in ways that I had never encountered before. I struggled to break them down logically and determine which formulas or approaches to use. It was immensely frustrating staring at questions that seemed straightforward but ended up having multiple tricky layers and concepts tested.
That’s when my sister, having gone through her own struggles, told me to sign up for tutoring with Peace of Pi. She had heard great things about their virtual program and structured lesson plans. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the online format, fearing it would be too similar to the lessons during COVID where it was easy to get distracted and zone out. However, Peace of Pi’s tutoring experience blew those concerns out of the water from day one. The sessions never dragged or felt excessive. The instructors were engaging and did a fantastic job of breaking down complex concepts through examples.
The program was rigorous and demanding, requiring me to sacrifice leisure activities like hanging with friends or watching Netflix some nights and weekends. But the content was carefully structured into topic-focused lesson packets that comprehensively covered every concept and problem type I’d encounter on the real exam. No stone was left unturned.
The most valuable component was the way they integrated practice tests into the curriculum. After each one, I could review all of the problems through the video solutions posted for each one. I was able to understand exactly what my weaknesses were and how to improve them for next time. It was like nothing was left up to chance – we systematically eliminated my content gaps and holes in logic one by one.
On my first official SAT attempt, I scored an incredible 780 in the math section – a staggering 250 point improvement from my sophomore PSAT score. Peace of Pi’s program quite literally transformed my scoring potential and academic future. Earning such a high math score enabled me to qualify for Florida’s Bright Futures scholarship and gain acceptance into top universities like UF that have stringent test score standards.
In retrospect, the weekly time commitment was more than worth it. Peace of Pi’s methodical, comprehensive approach is pure excellence! Any student looking to maximize their score and qualification for scholarships absolutely must look into this program. The hard work really does pay off exponentially in the end.”

As I entered my senior year, I realized I needed a stronger push to achieve my goal score for Bright Futures.
Initially, I approached Peace of Pi with the mindset that I was just trying another tutoring service. I wasn’t expecting significant results, especially given my previous experiences. However, the course exceeded my expectations in so many ways.
The virtual group learning environment was engaging and interactive, and the instructors made me feel comfortable asking questions and participating in discussions. The personalized attention from the Peace of Pi team kept me accountable and motivated throughout the program.

“Peace of Pi gave me all the resources and accountability I needed to stay committed!”
My name is Thomas Dos Santos Lara and I’m a junior at Riviera. When I first took a practice SAT test in preparation for the real thing, I was shocked at how poorly I scored on the math section. Despite being a solid math student in school, the questions on the SAT completely threw me for a loop. The formatting, wording, and complexity was unlike anything I had seen before. I desperately needed guidance to truly understand the exam and how to approach the math concepts being tested.
That’s when I heard about Peace of Pi’s virtual SAT tutoring program from friends who had amazing score improvements after taking the course. While I was initially nervous about the online group format, Peace of Pi’s engaging instructors and well-designed curriculum quickly put my concerns to rest.
Over the rigorous program, I received incredibly thorough instruction that comprehensively covered every math topic that could appear on the SAT. The topical homeworks and abundant practice drilled the content into my mind. Perhaps most crucially, I reviewed and analyzed after each practice test with the video solutions in order to hammer home my weaknesses and continuously improve.
The virtual environment was ideal – I could participate from the comfort of my home while still receiving highly interactive, personalized guidance. The teachers fostered a fun yet productive dynamic, and I even got placed in classes with friends also taking the course.
Though the program demanded significant time and effort outside of school, Peace of Pi gave me all the resources and accountability I needed to stay committed. By rigorously working through the materials, I experienced a remarkable 220 point improvement on the SAT math section, jumping from a 540 to a 760!

While I had taken the PSAT during my sophomore year, I hadn’t given much thought to the SAT until then. Suddenly, it became clear that I needed to get serious about my prep. Initially, I considered self-studying, but after attempting a practice exam online, I quickly realized I needed more structured assistance.

Hey guys! My name is Natalie Acebo, and I’m a Junior at St. Brendan High School. As an 11th-grade student, my journey toward this success began when I realized the need for SAT preparation. I knew I had to put in the work to secure a good score, and that’s when I sought the guidance of a prep service.
The decision to enroll in the prep course was influenced by the recommendation of a former student, who was connected through my mom. It seems moms have a way of knowing each other and sharing valuable information. I opted for math prep, believing it would be more manageable to focus on one subject at a time. Given my inclination towards math, it provided me with the motivation I needed.
Reflecting on my initial experiences with SAT practice, I recognized that I lacked the routine of consistent practice, hindering my ability to navigate the test efficiently. I needed to develop a natural flow and muscle memory, which the prep course helped me achieve. The personal connection with the instructor, Cori, made the learning experience more engaging. It wasn’t just about getting answers right or wrong; Cori took the time to ensure everyone understood the concepts.
Comparing the virtual prep course to the COVID-era virtual classes, there were similarities in the online format. However, the prep course felt more personal, with a smaller class size of students who shared similar goals. Commitment and consistency were key lessons from the prep course. While it initially seemed like a daunting amount of work, spreading it out over time proved effective, eliminating the need for procrastination.
The results speak for themselves. My PSAT score of 1220 and a 610 in math transformed into a SAT score of 1410 with a stellar 750 in math after the prep course. This achievement has instilled confidence in me, showing that I can reach the desired scores with dedication and the right guidance. Now, my focus is on improving my reading scores, and I plan to continue with the prep course for that specific area.
Looking ahead, I’m optimistic about the digital format of the SAT, especially for the reading section. The elimination of long passages and the ability to focus on shorter, more digestible content align better with my strengths. Overall, the prep course not only elevated my scores but also instilled in me the belief that achieving higher goals is within reach with the right mindset and approach. I’m grateful for the support, and I look forward to further success in my academic journey.

“With my new competitive SAT score, I applied to a range of top-tier universities, confident in my abilities and potential!”
Hey, I’m Neal Zikiri, a senior at Don Soffer Aventura High School. Let me share why I turned to Peace of Pi for SAT Math tutoring, and how it transformed my approach to standardized testing!
Before joining Peace of Pi, I spent months in SAT tutoring sessions with minimal score improvement. Despite countless hours of study, my scores only increased by like +20 points. Living in Florida, where SAT scores heavily influence college admissions, I knew I needed a change. The turning point came when a fellow student, Izzy, shared her remarkable score improvement after working with Peace of Pi.
My previous SAT attempts left me feeling frustrated and limited in my college options. I knew I could do better, but the traditional tutoring model wasn’t providing the support I needed. One-hour sessions felt too short, and I struggled to retain what I learned. Despite being good at math, I realized that my foundational knowledge, particularly in algebra, needed reinforcement.
Peace of Pi’s virtual group environment exceeded my expectations. Unlike traditional tutoring, where I often felt disconnected and unengaged, the interactive sessions kept me motivated and challenged. I’m Clarisa Ponte, a senior at La Salle, and I turned to Peace of Pi for SAT Math tutoring after experiencing minimal score improvement with another tutoring service. My initial score of 630 left me feeling disappointed, considering math has always been my stronger subject, and I had expected better results.
My biggest struggle was in mastering the test format and managing time effectively. I had completed Pre Calc Honors and always excelled in math throughout my academic career, so I felt frustrated by my inability to achieve my desired score… until I found Peace of Pi, of course!
I was initially skeptical about virtual group learning, given my past experience doing online classes. However, the interactive and collaborative environment fostered by Peace of Pi proved to be really effective. Small group sessions facilitated active participation, while the personalized attention from instructors like Vicky made for a supportive learning atmosphere.
What distinguished Peace of Pi from previous tutoring experiences was the emphasis on practice and homework. Unlike other programs where we skimmed over a few problems, Peace of Pi’s approach involved extensive practice, helping us master each and every skill. The workload was demanding, with approximately ten assignments per week, but I managed it by dedicating time each day to complete them, and it all paid off!
The result was a significant score improvement of 140 points, adding up to a final score of 770! This achievement not only exceeded my expectations but also opened doors to academic opportunities that once seemed so far out of reach.
