Hey! My name is Alyssa Arana. I’m currently a freshman at the University of Florida, and I tutored with Peace of Pi in my senior year of high school! It all started when I needed to improve my math SAT score to qualify for the Bright Futures scholarship. Despite my efforts, I struggled to make meaningful progress. My mom’s friend told us about Peace of Pi – and the results that other students had been able to achieve through POP’s tutoring.
The approach focused equally on comprehensively developing core math skills and SAT-specific test-taking strategies. The patient methods boosted my confidence and abilities week by week. Ultimately, I earned the SAT score for Bright Futures, opening the doors to the University of Florida!
