+120 points on the SAT Math!

“Consistent effort is essential to achieve a good score.”

After taking the PSAT, I realized quickly I needed more support to prepare properly for the actual SAT. I wanted a good score to be able to apply to college, even though I did not have a specific target in mind. Before the prep course, my biggest challenge was managing my time on the test because I struggled to finish on time.

The workload of the course was a little intimidating at first, but I was able to manage it by dedicating extra time on weekends to complete any work I missed during the week. The four-hour classes felt long initially, but I understood that the time invested was necessary to really learn the material. The virtual group environment worked well because students were grouped by level, so everyone progressed at the same pace. It required active participation, which helped me stay focused. I felt that my tutors were very qualified and helpful throughout the process.

The part of the course that helped me improve the most was the combination of homework and quizzes. Doing the homework on my own was challenging, but the quizzes and reviewing my mistakes afterward reinforced the material and helped me remember it for the test. By the end of the program, I improved my math score from 600 on the PSAT to 720 on the SAT. That improvement reduced a lot of stress and gave me more confidence in my abilities.

I would recommend Peace of Pi to other students because it is a big commitment that requires dedication, but it is worth it if you are willing to put in the work. It is not an easy program, but the results speak for themselves. For students currently on their SAT prep journey, my advice is to prioritize the prep alongside schoolwork and manage your time well, because consistent effort is essential to achieve a good score.
