“If you want a good score, you have to put in the work, and Peace of Pi provides the roadmap to achieve that.”
My name is Daisy Stein. I’m in 11th grade and I go to Dr. Michael Krop Senior High School. I struggled with algebra and geometry because my teachers weren’t great, so I didn’t learn as much as I should have. This became a problem when I took a diagnostic SAT test and got a score that I wasn’t happy with. I didn’t think studying on my own would help, so I looked for a tutoring service and heard great things about Peace of Pi Learning. I knew they were the best option for me.
I took the PSAT and didn’t score well, which was disappointing, considering I’m two years ahead in math, currently in AP Calc A/B. I realized that even though I was advanced, I missed a lot of foundational tricks and nuances in algebra and geometry. Peace of Pi helped me understand the tricky wording of the questions and what they were really asking for, which made a huge difference.
I found out about Peace of Pi from my sister’s friend, Annabelle Schiff, who got an 800 with their help. Seeing her success made me believe that if I put in the work, I could improve too. At first, I was unsure about the virtual group learning environment, especially since it involved long Zoom sessions. But it turned out to be very interactive. The tutor kept us engaged, so it didn’t feel like a boring lecture. The small group setting made learning more effective compared to a large class.
Peace of Pi kept me accountable with regular check-ins and deadlines. The tutors emphasized that doing the work was crucial, and their constant encouragement helped me stay on track. Even though it required a lot of dedication, I knew it was worth it for the results I wanted.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, I improved my SAT math score from 500 to 760, a 260-point increase! This was more than I expected, and now I feel confident about my math score. I still need to work on my reading score, but my math improvement has put me in a great position for college applications.
I highly recommend Peace of Pi Learning. It’s a significant time commitment, but if you’re dedicated and willing to put in the effort, you’ll see amazing results. My friends were initially
skeptical about the workload, but I told them that the effort is worth it. If you want a good score, you have to put in the work, and Peace of Pi provides the roadmap to achieve that.
