+170 points on the SAT Math!
“It only took one test after starting the program to improve +170 points… I’ve already recommended Peace of Pi to everyone I know! “
I started Peace of Pi early—right after hearing how much it helped my sister and a few other students I know. I didn’t even consider any other tutoring programs. I just wanted to go straight to what I knew worked.
Before the program, I had a 600 in math. I’ve always felt that math was one of my stronger subjects, but I knew I could do better. I wanted to start my SAT prep strong, especially because scores matter a lot for colleges here in Florida. My biggest issue with the test before tutoring was definitely timing, especially on the harder second module. I didn’t feel confident managing my time, and I worried I wouldn’t be able to finish everything.
I’ll be honest: I was a little nervous about the four-hour Zoom classes. I thought I’d have trouble staying focused for that long. But they ended up being super engaging and interactive. The tutors made it easy to stay involved by asking us to explain our answers and keeping us on pace. That made all the difference! I never felt bored or zoned out. Even though I usually prefer in-person learning, this experience showed me that virtual can work really well when it’s done right.
What helped me the most were the live classes and the mock exams. Being able to talk through problems in real time helped me remember the material better. And the mock tests helped me get used to the timing and pressure of the real SAT. It felt amazing going into the test already familiar with how it would feel.
By the end of the program, I raised my math score from a 600 to a 770. That’s a 170-point jump, and it only took one test after starting the program to get there. I reached Bright Futures and now I feel so much more confident heading into the rest of high school and the college application process. It’s a huge relief to have math done and out of the way. I’ve already recommended Peace of Pi to everyone I know!
