+190 in Math
“My advice to other students is simple: just do whatever Peace of Pi tells you to do. It worked for me, and I’m so glad I stuck with it!”
Before I joined Peace of Pi, I was struggling with my SAT math score. I’ve always been a good student in math—I’ve taken advanced classes and passed them easily, but my SAT scores didn’t match up. My first official SAT math score was a 500, and I knew that wasn’t going to cut it if I wanted to qualify for Bright Futures.
I tried studying on my own at first, but I wasn’t really pushing myself to work hard. I needed something to keep me on track, and that’s when I decided to join Peace of Pi. I thought their course would not only help me relearn concepts like geometry and algebra, but also give me a reason to stay disciplined.
At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the virtual group learning experience. I figured it would be just like the Zoom classes we had during COVID, but it turned out to be much more engaging. With only four students in the group, the tutors made sure we were all participating and staying on top of things. Since I signed up to be there, I felt more motivated to actually do the work.
The program was definitely time-consuming, and it required a lot of effort. But if you’re willing to put in the work, the results are worth it. For me, that hard work paid off. I improved my math score by 190 points, going from a 500 to a 690, and my overall SAT score went up to 1290. With that improvement, I qualified for Bright Futures, which means I’ll be saving a lot of money for college.
My advice to other students is simple: just do whatever Peace of Pi tells you to do. It worked for me, and I’m so glad I stuck with it. This program really is the best, and I’m grateful for everything it helped me achieve.
