My name is Hayden Hughes, and I’m a senior at Archbishop McCarthy High School. I took the Peace of Pi SAT prep course in the spring of 2024 because my math score wasn’t improving, even after trying multiple study programs and tutors. My score was only fluctuating by about 10 points, and none of the tips I learned seemed to stick. This was frustrating since I needed to see real progress.
A friend who had benefited from Peace of Pi recommended the program to me. I chose to enroll because I knew I needed more discipline in my study routine, something I hadn’t tried before. The course offered thorough check-ups and clear explanations whenever I had questions, which made a big difference.
I was initially concerned about the virtual learning environment, thinking I might get distracted, but the tutors kept me focused and on track. I also assumed that the group setting would make the experience less personalized, but it still felt tailored to my specific needs.
