My name is Henry and I go to Doral Academy. I decided to take the Peace of Pi SAT prep course after receiving a low PSAT score. I wanted to ensure I did well on the SAT the first time I took it. Before starting the course, I felt like I knew a lot of math material, but it turned out I didn’t fully understand the specific types of problems the SAT tests. Once I realized that SAT math questions follow specific patterns, everything started to click.
I found Peace of Pi through a friend’s suggestion, and their positive reviews made me trust their recommendation. The weekly homework assignments kept me focused, and the Zoom meetings were great since the small class sizes felt very personalized. Initially, I had low expectations for virtual learning, especially after my experiences during the Zoom years. However, this course completely surpassed my expectations—the tutors made the material clear, and I genuinely understood everything.
I was also unsure about group learning at first, thinking it might make things harder. Instead, it ended up helping me a lot. Knowing others were struggling with the same problems as me made me feel less alone, and overall, it greatly improved my experience.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, I scored a 780 on the math section of the SAT, which helped me qualify for Bright Futures and improve my chances at National Merit. The skills I gained also helped me in my classes, especially with algebra. I can’t express enough how much this course and the amazing tutors meant to me.
