+90 points on the SAT Math!

From the start, I could tell Peace of Pi was different.  They immediately identified my weaknesses and drilled those specific areas until I improved. Not just with the content, but with the speed and strategy I needed for the SAT.”

Before I found Peace of Pi, I had taken the SAT six times. I was stuck in the 600s on the math section—always getting tripped up near the end of Module 2—and it was incredibly frustrating. I’ve always loved math and even took AP Calculus, so it just didn’t make sense that I couldn’t break through. I felt like I had the knowledge but didn’t know how to apply it in the SAT format.

I tried self-studying and other group tutoring programs, but nothing gave me the structure or targeted support I really needed. That changed when a friend from ballet recommended Peace of Pi. From the start, I could tell it was different. They immediately identified my weaknesses and drilled those specific areas until I improved. Not just with the content, but with the speed and strategy I needed for the SAT.

Even though the course was virtual and in a group setting, I felt completely supported. My tutor was encouraging, and the students in my cohort made the experience feel comfortable and collaborative. The flexibility of the online format actually helped me stay consistent, whether I was at home or studying from the library, I could still show up and give it my all.

The workload was definitely intense, especially on top of AP classes, but it was 100% worth it. I saw the exact same types of questions we practiced show up on my SAT, and the repetition gave me confidence I hadn’t had before. After the course, my math score jumped from a 690 to a 780, and I hit my goal of a 1500 overall! That one result opened up everything. I’m now eligible to apply for competitive programs like USF’s BS/MD track, more scholarships, and top Florida schools. I finally feel like my score reflects my potential.

The skills I gained didn’t just help me on the SAT, they helped on my AP exams and will definitely follow me into college. For anyone else stuck like I was, I’d say: trust the process, put in the work, and don’t give up. Peace of Pi knows what they’re doing, and if you stay committed, the results will come.
