My name is Jason Gomez, and I turned to Peace of Pi after receiving a low math score on my SAT. Everything was going fine until I discovered that my math score was lower than I expected, which was stopping me from qualifying for the Bright Futures scholarship.

Initially, I didn’t have high expectations for the virtual learning experience. I thought most students wouldn’t participate and the tutor would be strict. However, when I joined the Zoom sessions, everyone was relaxed, and the tutor was incredibly nice and helpful, even when we made mistakes. The group learning environment was also very supportive, making me feel less alone. Whenever I got a question wrong, there was always someone else in the same situation, which was reassuring.

When I got my SAT results back, I achieved a 730 on the math section! This was a huge +160 point improvement from my original score of 570. This score has relieved my family’s financial worries and allowed me to apply for the Bright Futures scholarship.
