+200 points on the SAT Math!
“The classes really helped me break that down and think through problems more clearly.”
I realized I needed help because my PSAT score was really low, and even though I wanted to study, I just couldn’t get myself to actually do it consistently.
At first, I thought virtual group tutoring would be hard to focus on and that four-hour classes would be too much. But it ended up helping a lot. The tutors made me feel really comfortable, like I wasn’t scared to answer questions or get something wrong, and I was able to stay focused the whole time.
My biggest issue before was time management and understanding the questions. I would know how to solve something, but the way it was asked would confuse me. The classes really helped me break that down and think through problems more clearly.
The workload is a lot, especially if you have extracurriculars, but it’s something you have to commit to. It can feel overwhelming at first, but it’s worth it in the end.
I improved my math score from a 480 to a 680, which is a 200-point increase. It made me feel more confident and helped reduce a lot of stress, and I know it’s going to help me with things like Bright Futures and college applications.
