My name is Juliette Gonzalez, and I’m a junior at the School for Advanced Studies Kendall campus. I first realized I needed SAT tutoring when my PSAT math score dropped to 600, which was much lower than before. I tried self-study using the College Board book, but it wasn’t enough.
That’s when I turned to Peace of Pi. I heard about their services through friends, Elizabeth and Natalie, both of whom saw significant improvements in their scores after working with them. I was particularly motivated when I learned that Ellie had nearly achieved an 800 in math. Knowing that my friends had positive experiences, I decided to give it a try.
The virtual group learning environment was surprisingly effective. The sessions were well-paced, and I appreciated how personalized the homework was. My tutor, Chloe, was fantastic—she really motivated us. I also liked that I could watch solution videos whenever I got stuck.
One of the major benefits of Peace of Pi was the push to stay disciplined. The program helped me establish a routine and stick to it, even when I was tired or overwhelmed. It was a lot of work, but I knew it was worth it. The assignments were challenging, but they were also personalized to target my weaknesses, which helped me improve where I needed it most. The practice tests were another highlight—they were incredibly valuable in helping me prepare for the real thing.
Before joining Peace of Pi, I scored a 650 in math on the SAT. After the course, I improved to a 760, which was enough for Bright Futures and made me feel more confident about applying to UF. The practice tests and structured assignments helped me stay on track, and studying with friends added a fun, competitive edge. Overall, the course pushed me to stay disciplined, and it was definitely worth it.
