+170 points on the SAT Math!
“This program is not for someone looking for a shortcut; you have to put in the work, but if you do, the results are absolutely worth it. What you put in is what you’re going to get out.”
I’ve always been naturally good at math, probably my best subject, but my standardized test scores didn’t reflect my abilities. My reading scores were always higher than my math scores, which made me realize I needed a comprehensive SAT tutoring program to teach me everything I needed to know and help me reach my goals.
Peace of Pi’s program was intense: four-hour Zoom sessions each week, a rigorous schedule, and a lot of homework. At first, I was worried about being able to sit through such long sessions, but they ended up going by quickly because I was actively learning the material. The homework and focused practice problems were extremely helpful because they drilled the concepts into my brain, and by the time I took the test, even the hardest problems didn’t feel as difficult.
I really appreciated the virtual group environment. There aren’t many tutoring options where I live, and being able to work with other students from different states was an added benefit. Seeing other students make the same mistakes I had made allowed me to learn from them, and I also learned a lot from my tutors, who were experienced and able to explain concepts clearly.
Managing the workload was definitely intense, but growing up in competitive gymnastics taught me discipline and time management, which I applied to my studies. Figuring out the best time each day to focus on my assignments was key.
The results speak for themselves: I went from a 610 on the PSAT to a 790 on the SAT in math. That improvement has given me a lot of confidence, and I no longer have to worry about my SAT math score during my junior year. This program is not for someone looking for a shortcut; you have to put in the work, but if you do, the results are absolutely worth it. What you put in is what you’re going to get out. So, if you do everything with your full effort, you’re going to get the result you want in the end.
