+110 in Math

“Your score won’t improve on its own. But if you dedicate yourself, the results will come.”

I wanted to improve my SAT score quickly because the November 1st college application deadline was approaching. My score wasn’t anywhere close to what I needed for the schools I wanted to apply to. I knew that submitting a strong score would give me an advantage in the application process, and I didn’t want to go test-optional.

Before joining Peace of Pi, I thought I was pretty good at math (I had a 620) but it didn’t reflect my actual ability. There were math concepts I had forgotten because I hadn’t practiced them in so long. Even refreshing them on my own wasn’t enough. I needed consistent, structured practice, which is exactly what Peace of Pi provided.

I trusted Peace of Pi because my mom knew people who had done really well with the program, so I had faith it would help me. It turned out to be even more effective than any in-person tutoring I’d tried before. The online format was super helpful, and the strict schedule—knowing exactly what to do and when to do it—kept me accountable.

The program isn’t easy, though; you have to put in the work. Your score won’t improve on its own. But if you dedicate yourself, the results will come. In my case, my math score went from 620 to 730, a 110-point improvement! That boost means I can now apply to schools like UF, which felt completely out of reach before.

Looking back, I wish I had started tutoring with Peace of Pi earlier. I crammed everything into my senior year without realizing how much effort it would take to improve. That’s why I’m telling my little brother to start preparing during his junior year.
