+130 points on the SAT Math!

After receiving my PSAT score, I knew I needed a change—I wanted to aim higher, and Peace of Pi seemed like the perfect way to get there. The PSAT is supposed to be easier than the SAT, so getting a low grade made me think I’d do even worse on the actual test.

Before the course, I didn’t have any test prep, even though I’ve always been a good math student and liked the subject. My biggest frustration was that some math questions felt so hard that I wouldn’t even try to answer them.

Going into the course, I expected it to be long with a lot of homework, but I was willing to put in the effort if it would help. The virtual group learning experience met my expectations—it wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, and it helped me a lot.

The course gave me structure and made me realize how important it is to stay on top of the homework. My advice to other students is to space out the assignments daily so you don’t get overwhelmed at the end of the week.

Thanks to Peace of Pi, my overall SAT score improved by 130 points, from 510 to 640, with about 100 of those points coming from math. That’s a huge improvement for me, and it showed me that practicing really works.

I’m looking forward to tackling the English section next and seeing even more progress. My advice to other students is to keep going, even when it feels tough, because it will be worth it in the end.
