+100 points on the SAT Math!

“Honestly, the thing that helped me the most was the combination of in-depth classes and specific homework assignments.”

I started working with Peace of Pi because I knew I needed to improve my SAT math score. My PSAT score was okay, but not where I needed it to be for schools like UF or FSU. I had tried reviewing some materials on my own, but honestly, it was pretty confusing and I didn’t get very far. Even though math had always been one of my stronger subjects, my score wasn’t reflecting that, and I knew timing was a big issue for me. I just couldn’t finish everything in time.

I didn’t really have any big doubts going into the program, but I was curious how it would work since it was all online. Thankfully, the virtual group classes were actually way better than I expected. It wasn’t anything like COVID Zoom school. The classes were small and interactive, and the tutors stayed in constant contact through messaging, which really kept us connected and on track.

The four-hour weekend classes seemed like a lot at first, but once I set that day aside, it really wasn’t bad. The workload was tough. There’s a lot of homework, and it definitely took me forever some days, but I just reminded myself that it was only 10 weeks. I even put sports and other things aside to stay focused. In the end, it paid off.

The tutors were great: super professional and really good at explaining things. I didn’t mind that they were close to my age at all. Honestly, the thing that helped me the most was the combination of in-depth classes and specific homework assignments. The cram sheet before the test was super helpful too, it pulled everything together in one place and made it easier to review quickly.

Thanks to Peace of Pi, I raised my math score from a 580 on the PSAT to a 680 on the SAT. That 100-point jump made a huge difference. Now I can focus on the reading section without stressing about math. I’d say the program is definitely worth it, as long as you’re willing to dedicate the time. If you can commit to the work, you’ll get results.
