+160 points on the SAT Math!

“If you’re serious about improving, this is the program. It’s intense, yes, but it’s the kind of intensity that gets you where you want to go.”

Before joining Peace of Pi, I was frustrated. I had scored really high in English, but my math score dragged my total down—putting me below the range for the schools I wanted to get into. I tried self-studying and general tutoring, but none of it helped. I’m naturally more of an English girl, so I needed something that focused intensely on math—and that’s exactly what Peace of Pi gave me.

What I really loved about the program was how intense and structured it was. I actually preferred studying every day rather than just once a week. The workload was a lot, but it kept me disciplined, focused, and confident. I was always doing something to prepare, and that helped me feel like I was really ready for the test. The diversity of the homework was super helpful too. It was repetitive in a smart way, so the same concepts would come up in different forms.

Going in, I was nervous about virtual group tutoring, but it was surprisingly collaborative. My group was vocal and supportive. If one of us didn’t understand something, someone else would help out, even before the tutor stepped in. It felt friendly and focused, never like boring Zoom school. The classes flew by.

My tutor Chloe (and also Cori) were amazing. I know some people worry about college-aged tutors, but they taught me so well that their age didn’t matter at all. I ended up raising my math score from a 590 to a 750,a 160-point increase! That helped bring my super score to a 1510, which puts me right where I need to be for my top schools.

If you’re serious about improving, this is the program. It’s intense, yes, but it’s the kind of intensity that gets you where you want to go.
