+160 points on the SAT Math!

“They helped me truly understand the concepts and build a strong foundation so I could solve problems both with and without tools like Desmos.”

I used to think that doing well on the SAT was just about being good at math, but I quickly realized that’s not true. The SAT is a completely different kind of test, and if you don’t understand how it works, you won’t get the score you want.

Before Peace of Pi, I was scoring around the 540–600 range and struggling especially with timing. I’ve always been a slower test taker, so even when I knew how to solve a problem, I would spend too much time figuring out how to approach it. That was my biggest issue.

Peace of Pi completely changed that. Instead of wasting time thinking about how to start a problem, I began recognizing patterns immediately. I would see a question and know exactly what to do because I had already practiced it before. That alone made a huge difference.

One thing I really appreciated was how flexible the program was. My schedule was very busy during the school year, but the team adjusted my workload based on my feedback each week so I could stay consistent without falling behind.

I was also unsure about group tutoring at first and considered doing one-on-one, but the small groups ended up being just as effective. Everyone was at a similar level, so we were all working through the same challenges together, and it still felt very personalized.

The most helpful part of the program for me was definitely the videos. I still use them even now. They helped me truly understand the concepts and build a strong foundation so I could solve problems both with and without tools like Desmos.

In the end, I improved from a 540 PSAT to a 700 on the SAT Math, a 160-point increase. That result took a lot of pressure off and gave me confidence going into my next test.

I would 100% recommend Peace of Pi. It’s not easy, and it’s definitely a commitment, but if you have the discipline and put in the work, it’s absolutely worth it. The program gives you everything you need — you just have to take advantage of it.
