“I got Bright Futures and gained acceptance into various universities, including my dreamschool: The University of Notre Dame .”

I knew I had the potential to get a good math score, but I was not familiar with all the basic SAT skills needed to get that score. I was doing practice tests and found myself losing steam halfway through. I wanted to do better, but my motivation and endurance were weak, and I would get frustrated when I could not solve a problem and did not have the resources to understand my mistakes. I became stressed and anxious, especially because college applications were approaching.

I was desperate, so when a friend told me about Peace of Pi Learning, I gave them a call and signed up for the 2021 May/June Prep Course. Peace of Pi Learning proved to be an incredible service. The work and effort Renan and all the tutors put into the program is unmatched. Going into the course, I was unsure how effective it would be since it was virtual. However, I have never enjoyed a 3-hour, 9 am class so much. Although it was through zoom, Renan kept us all awake and engaged. Whether it’s by cracking jokes, playing games with point accumulation on SAT problems, or hyping us up to be the best, Renan was capable of making a group of kids itch to solve math problems at 9am.

I was utterly amazed at how much Peace of Pi Learning surpassed my expectations, and as a result of taking the course, I earned a 790 SAT math score. Because of this, I got Bright Futures and gained acceptance into various universities, including my dream school: the University of Notre Dame. I also went through my senior year with less worry about my SAT score.

“Thanks to Peace of Pi, I was able to send my score to schools that I did not consider before my increased score.”

Before undergoing tutoring with Peace of Pi, I had taken 2 SATs and didn’t feel confident while I took the math sections so was never happy with my math score in the end. At the time, I was also struggling a lot with my math tests in school and there were many concepts I didn’t understand. Generally, I was not confident with a lot of math concepts that showed up on my SATs , which led me to have scores that I did not feel good about sending to certain universities.

A close family friend heard about Peace of Pi’s services and was going to participate in the Summer Prep 2021 Course. They passed the message to my mom, who told me, and together we decided to work with Peace of Pi. We came to this decision after some deliberation about all of the great reviews and testimonials from students whose math scores went up over a hundred points.

At times, the journey became really tough and required a lot of dedication, but all of my work was extremely worth it because POP helped me increase my score by 160 points! The teachers are understanding and present concepts in a way students can better remember, and provide many helpful tips and tricks. Thanks to Peace of Pi, I was able to send my score to schools that I did not consider before my increased score. I was also able to get the 100% Bright Futures scholarship when I only had the 75% before.

“I could not be happier with the results I reached!”

Before enrolling in tutoring with Peace of Pi I was averaging around 1000 on my composite SAT score and wasn’t going up much after already taking 2 tests. I faced a few obstacles in my studying, from not having a schedule or the discipline to study for the SAT to being unsure about my knowledge of the material that was tested. I needed to improve my score by around 200 points fast in order to get Bright Futures and have a score which I could get into FIU with.

My mother looked around on the internet for a local tutor and came across Renan and his team at Peace of Pi. The conversation that I had with Renan assured me that I would have a flexible work schedule and that I could work at a pace that suited me, which convinced me almost immediately. I ended up taking both the May/June Prep 2021 AND the Summer Prep 2021 Courses. After taking multiple practice tests and getting a feel for the questions I need improvement on with my tutors, I was then given lessons and practice questions to learn the material and improve my knowledge on how to improve my overall test score.

I could not be happier with the results I reached! I had improved both my math and reading scores simply because I had taken so many practice tests through Peace of Pi and I ended up with a 1250. I got the 75% Bright Futures scholarship and I was accepted into FIU. I couldn’t be any more satisfied. Renan and the other tutors that were a part of the team made for a very fun and interactive experience which always made me laugh along with my learning.

“I haven’t seen or heard of any course that is designed as well as Peace of Pi.”

I took my first SAT March of my Junior year but I didn’t attempt to take another SAT and left my score as it was, despite being unsatisfied with it. That was until senior year came around and I realized the importance of the SAT.  I had taken multiple PSATs and one SAT and hadn’t received scores anywhere near what I needed for Bright Futures. I knew I would need help in order to earn a score high enough to qualify for it but didn’t know where to look.

Since I had already tried to improve on my own, I knew there wasn’t much more that I could do by myself in order to increase my score by as much as I needed. I had a good friend use Peace of Pi and she saw incredible results. I had also been following Peace of Pi on Instagram and continuously saw students getting insane score improvements so I decided to enroll in the March Prep 2022 Course to see if I could achieve that type of improvement in my own score.

The sheer amount of students using Peace of Pi and seeing score improvements is evidence enough of the productivity of the course. I haven’t seen or heard of any course that is designed as well as Peace of Pi. The way in which students are given virtual classes and homework in order to succeed proved to be just the right type of studying for me. The service offered by Peace of Pi was everything I needed. Teachers were quick with replying when I needed help and tailored my homework to what I needed. They helped to make learning fun while also teaching me the tips and tricks necessary to improve my score.

I expected the virtual learning experience to be a good one as I was assured that the virtual classes along with the homework would truly help improve my score. The modality of the course online and in a group setting was facilitated smoothly by the way tutors teach and the material they provided to help render the best possible results. At first, I expected the group learning environment to be a risk in terms of effectiveness as it would probably be hard to really learn when the focus is on multiple students. However, I was surprised to learn that group learning was way more beneficial than I had expected. Although we learned in groups, Renan and the other teachers made sure to help any and every student that needed it.

My math score increased by 90 points in a matter of 5 weeks. I had only done half the course and already received the score needed to attain 100% Bright Futures. I am now receiving a fully paid education at the university of my choice. Additionally, it helped me to skip certain general math courses at the university I will be attending in the fall. My score helped place me in higher-level courses and get me ahead before even starting my college journey. I am very grateful for the dedication and support that each teacher has shown in the course and will make sure to recommend it to anyone who needs help in the math portion of the SAT.

“I was able to reach my full potential and get evrerything out of this opportunity.”

I took my first SAT in December and I was honestly very disappointed with my score. Before Peace Of Pi, my parents were opposed to SAT tutoring so I was practicing for the SAT through Khan Academy and review books. While this method is very efficient for some, I felt like I wasn’t retaining any information and I was moving very slowly. I knew I lacked knowledge in a lot of concepts that the SAT covered and this method wasn’t teaching me concepts as much as it was strategies and tricks. I felt like I was wasting my time and was very frustrated with my score because I knew I could do a lot better, and part of that frustration came from not knowing how to do better.

Not long after I spoke to a friend who had taken POP’s course and had seen drastic improvements in her math scores in a very short amount of time. She emphasized the endless amount of resources that this course provided and how the tutors ensured to help you through every step of the way.  After this conversation with her, I still had some doubts since I’d heard of many SAT tutoring programs that didn’t deliver the results they promised and were basically a waste of money and time. However, after going through Instagram and seeing all the score improvements I decided to sign up for the March SAT prep course.

After taking my first few classes, all the amazing things I had read and heard about Peace Of Pi were proven right. Renan’s impressive knowledge and passion for teaching plus all of the material, videos, packets and practice tests were the perfect formula for achieving a math SAT score that I was proud of and could also present to colleges. I followed Renan’s advice of putting in my 110% effort into this experience by completing all of my homework and participating in class, which combined with the program’s teaching method and all the tutors being on top of my progress and ensuring that I never fell behind, allowed me to reach my full potential and get everything out of this opportunity. While I will admit it was definitely not easy, I knew that I needed to work hard for changes to happen.

When the course finished, I took my SAT again in March and I was able to improve 120 points on the math section. I was so shocked. I remember taking the test and feeling comfortable because I knew exactly how to approach almost all of the problems on the test. I felt extremely prepared which was so rewarding considering how lost I felt the first time I took the SAT. After finally achieving a score I was happy with, I was able to get the SAT out of the way in junior year and I’m now able to focus my attention on college applications next year without having to worry about the test. My overall experience with Peace Of Pi was beyond amazing, I haven’t stopped telling my friends about it and I would recommend it to anyone.

“I feel like a weight was lifted in preparation for my senior year with the SAT out of the way.”

My troubles began when I received my PSAT results and began to grow concerned with my score in the math section, as a 580 is not a particularly good score. I was lucky to realize early on that I would need to seek out help to perform well on my SAT in the near future. My cousin scored pretty high on the SAT so I went to him for a recommended tutoring program and he prompted me to complete Peace of Pi’s program because it was what helped him the most in the end. I signed up for the March Prep 2022 Course and had my mind set on the idea that I did not want to waste an attempt at the SAT without having studied as hard as I could.

I was having trouble reviewing all the different types of questions that were part of the SAT since there seems to be a mix of a whole bunch of different topics. I chose to work with Peace of Pi because, from the get go, it seemed like a very effective and credible program that helped build the bridge from my mediocre score to the results I wanted to achieve.

The tutoring sessions were extremely helpful. I was able to receive feedback after every lesson, allowing me to divert my attention onto the topics I most needed or was most struggling with. I ended up scoring a 730 which was an extremely surprising improvement from my initial PSAT score and considering math was the subject I struggled most with in school. The result I saw in my SAT score has qualified me for the 100% Bright Futures scholarship. Being a junior in high school this year, I feel like a weight was lifted in preparation for my senior year with the SAT out of the way.

“Thanks to Peace of Pi, I’ll be going to Georgetown in the fall!”

Prior to enrolling in Peace of Pi’s Summer Prep Course in 2021, I had taken the SAT  and wasn’t even close to being satisfied with my score. I was afraid of preparing on my own because I wasn’t sure if I’d get the results I was hoping for and I had limited time since it was already the end of my junior year.

When I saw a friend post about Peace of Pi, I clicked to view the Instagram page and witnessed proof of all the huge score improvements POP was able to provide. I signed up for the summer course right away! Compared to all my other options, I decided that Peace of Pi would give me the best chance of bringing up my score as much as I hoped.

The course was really helpful and Renan and the assistants were super flexible when I missed a class. They gave me access to a lot of practice and for each question there was a video solution. I was initially a bit skeptical because I thought the classes would be boring and not engaging since they were on Zoom, but Renan always managed to keep it fun and challenging.

The group aspect of the classes surpassed my expectations because although I initially thought it would be more of a distraction,  it actually helped because people would ask questions that helped clarify things I hadn’t thought to ask. Thanks to Peace of Pi, I increased my math score from a 680 to a 780 and I’ll be going to Georgetown in the fall!

“Renan and his team are the sole reason I was able to get to where I am today.”

As I was doing my research on the contents of the SAT, I noticed that I hadn’t learned many of the topics tested. Taking the PSAT twice before the actual SAT was my wake-up call. I barely understood half the topics and knew from then on that I needed help. I tried to self-study for the first SAT and I scored a 590 in the math section. I wasn’t surprised by it but, deep down, I knew it could be so much higher. I was using Khan Academy and was told by my counselor that it was a great website to practice for it. I soon realized that it wasn’t for me and I would have to find another way. The way it is structured and how it is explained make it feel like a boring math class.

Everything changed when my cousin introduced me to Peace of Pi and started explaining to me how great Renan’s courses are and how they had the potential to help me immensely. I chose this option because I knew that if I did well on the SAT, it would mean I would spend less money on college expenses with merit-based aid like the Bright Futures Scholarship. It was an investment to sign up for both the May/June Prep 2021 and December Prep 2021 courses with POP.

When I started the course, I  began to learn so much so quickly. The way they simplified and explained the questions made the SAT feel so easy. It was nothing compared to Khan Academy where they try to explain it to you in long paragraphs. Peace of Pi’s way of teaching is very structured while still being engaging. If you need help on a specific topic, you can get a whole packet with videos on how to solve it.

After taking the course my first time I went up 60 points. I felt motivated but still hadn’t reached my goal, so I didn’t stop there. I knew I just needed to try a little harder and keep persevering. I decided to take the course a second time because I knew Peace of Pi was going to be my only hope of getting the score I needed. The second time I took the SAT in December 2021, I was even more confident than before.

As I approached the math section, I was getting excited. When I finally got to it, I was laughing. It felt like a walk in the park. There was no stress going through my head and I was smiling almost the whole way. In the end, I got the score I needed to get 75% Bright Futures. I started with a 590 and ended with a 690 in math. I felt a lot more relieved knowing I wouldn’t be needing to take the SAT or ACT again and had reached my goal. Renan and his team are the sole reason I was able to get to where I am today.

“Taking this prep course instilled in me confidence that I can do anything I set my mind to.”

I knew I was in trouble when I took my first ever PSAT at school and realized that I did not know how to do almost anything on the test. I got a 540 – which was 23 total answers incorrect. Because Covid happened my freshman year, my math foundation was already pretty rocky. Having to take math virtually during my junior year was an incredible challenge. I was my own teacher, and I had nobody to ask for help if I didn’t understand a concept. I had no confidence in my ability to learn math, let alone pass the final exam. I didn’t even know how to factor or simplify radicals. I had no idea how I was going to get a higher SAT math score.

I found Peace of Pi through previous students on Instagram, and after taking a look through the Instagram page, I immediately noticed how well Renan explains concepts and how he seemed to have a really fun personality that would make learning more motivating. I also saw the improvements from other kids who had lower scores than me, which gave me hope that I could do it too and prompted me to sign up for the March Prep 2022 Course.

From day 1, Renan and his team were incredibly organized and knew exactly what I needed to learn before we even had our first class. During each class, Renan gave us the perfect balance of pushing us to be our best, and also making sure we were having fun. He broke down every concept in multiple ways and would recognize our exact mistakes without seeing our work yet. Renan was able to help me at all hours of the day for any and every question. He fully believed in me and all of his students and pushed us to believe in ourselves.

I got a 760 on my first attempt of the SAT, which is a 220 point improvement and puts me in the 99th percentile nationally! I never would have imagined that I could achieve such a high score. From getting a 760, I qualified for the Bright Futures Scholarship, received a Math Excellence Award from my school, and got only one question wrong on my final exam. Taking this prep course instilled in me confidence that I can do anything I set my mind to, made me start to love math, and also left me with an incredible foundation of math knowledge that I will take with me through college.

I can’t thank Renan enough for believing in me and working very hard to make sure I had exactly what I needed to succeed. Renan is the best teacher I’ve ever had, and I would highly recommend Peace of Pi to anyone looking to improve on their SAT, and even math in general.

“My math goal was more than achieved!”

Before getting the opportunity to register for the course, I was not getting the SAT score I wanted. I had always been very strong in math, and could not understand what was causing me to perform below my skill set on this exam. I was sure there was a way that I could improve and so I started asking friends, friends of friends, and everyone I could, what I could do to maximize my potential. Most of the time they would name Renan from Peace of Pi Learning, and I had no idea who he was or what he offered as a tutor. Everyone said they had improved at least 90-100 points, which was a shocking jump that enticed me immediately. I contacted him instantly and decided to go with it, taking the March Prep 2022 Course.

Everything about the experience, from the classes to the tutors themselves, were absolutely phenomenal. Renan would make sure I was always up to the task and that I did not procrastinate. If I needed extra help, he would find ways to help me no matter the circumstance. For me, the most important thing was that even though the classes were long, he would find a way to make them fun and make me laugh every class. He was a great teacher and taught the lessons in many ways so everyone was comfortable.

After all the hard work and preparation, I was able to go up 150 points with just one course. It was more than what I was expecting and could not be happier with the results. My math goal was more than achieved! With this, I was able to get 75% bright futures, but with the extra time and confidence I now have to focus on the reading section, I am more than sure that I can soon reach a score that will grant me 100% Bright Futures!
