+180 in math
“…Every topic covered appeared in some way on the test.”
Read MoreWhen December of 2020 came around, I realized that I needed to start studying and preparing myself to take the SAT. Since I had been scoring much lower on the math sections of the PSAT and other practice tests than in the reading, I recognized I would need extra help to achieve the high math scores I wanted on the actual SAT.
Soon after I spoke to my mom, she began asking around for tutoring services until a coworker recommended we reach out to Peace of Pi Learning. Upon contacting them, Renan was quick to schedule a meeting where he would explain what the course entailed and address our questions. I decided to join the tutoring as it was the best thing I could do for myself and my scores, but also because Renan was so welcoming and organized.
There were practice tests, reviews, homework, study guides, and countless other helpful resources made accessible during the tutoring. The sessions were never boring or pointless; almost every topic covered appeared in some way on the test. Renan made the concepts easy to remember and always provided extra practice or elaborated further if we did not completely grasp a topic during the lesson. It was also extremely reassuring to have a teacher who truly cared about their students understanding the material and succeeding.
On the last PSAT I took, I scored a 570 on the math section. Coming out of the SAT, I scored a 750. I went up 180 points in the math section thanks to the countless resources and long hours dedicated to my tutoring. I am so thankful for Renan’s hard work and commitment that allowed me to reach a score I could have never imagined getting without Peace of Pi Learning. With these results, I now have the score to qualify for the 100% Florida Bright Futures Scholarship. I feel confident in applying to colleges and feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
I am eternally grateful for Peace of Pi Learning and what they have helped me accomplish. I advise anyone looking to do well in their SAT to sign up because your scores will take you so far and make all of your effort worth it.
