“Achieved my dream score.. got into Notre Dame!

Math has always been easier for me, so when my counselor asked me to increase my SAT score by 100 points, I thought that I could focus solely on the math section and see that improvement. I tried using Khan academy like one of my friends had done, but realized that I was not disciplined enough to dedicate an hour of each day to studying by myself.

After I took another SAT, I began seeing many students who had also taken it post about their score improvements through Peace Of Pi. Many kids were going up by 100 points and some even increased by as much as 200! I was immediately interested but wanted to talk to a friend who had been through the Peace of Pi course.

We spoke and she confirmed my hopes that the course was amazing, so I asked my mom to sign me up. I expected the course to be great, but what surprised me the most was the style of tutoring at Peace of Pi. We weren’t just taught quick tricks and SAT shortcuts, we were taught the math behind each style of problem.

I finished the Peace of Pi March course but was a little nervous since I had scheduled my SAT for May and there was a time gap between my tutoring sessions and the actual test. However, since the style of tutoring that I received at Peace of Pi was centered around truly learning, I was able to retain information much better than I would by just taking practice tests and focusing on the problems I got wrong.

Through Peace of Pi, I was able to learn and understand different variations of each type of problem that are consistently seen on the SAT. This allowed me to be prepared for any problem I was given rather than hoping I would get problems I had already seen before.

Through Peace of Pi and their amazing team of tutors who helped me in group tutoring sessions and one-on-one availability, I was able to increase my math score by 110 points!

Because of this incredible increase, I achieved my dream overall SAT score which helped me get into my dream university—Notre Dame! I am beyond thankful for the experience I had at Peace of Pi and how it impacted my future.

“Achieved 100% Bright Futures and have a chance of getting into colleges that I never thought I would be able to get into.”

Starting junior year, I heard talk of something new that I had only heard a few times before: the SAT. At the time I thought there were more important things going on in my life besides this test and didn’t realize the impact it would have on my college application process. This changed one day when my school counselor spoke to us about the SAT and how it contributed to obtaining scholarships like Florida Bright Futures. I realized that the Bright Futures Scholarship was going to be the only way that I could afford college. The time had come to start signing up for such an important test but I had no idea how I would prepare for it.

I decided I would watch videos on YouTube and review on Khan academy. However, I still did not take the preparation that seriously because I thought I would never be able to get a 1330 (the minimum score for 100% Bright Futures) because of how low I had scored on the PSAT. My cousin, who was a senior at the time, had already taken the SAT and had scored extremely high because of the Peace of Pi Learning SAT math course, and recommended it to me too. At first, I was hesitant, I thought that tutoring would not help me and that I was just going to waste my mom’s money. However, after I met up with Renan to discuss the course, I changed my mind, but part of me was still skeptical.

I loved how detailed Renan’s explanations were and appreciated how Peace of Pi was not a “one size fits all” type of experience, meaning that it was designed for both people who work at a slower pace and those who work much quicker, unlike a traditional classroom. Another factor that got me to sign up was that I could see that Renan and his team were very determined to help others improve their SAT scores. The tutoring required some sacrifices as the classes did run on weekends and there was homework to do, but paid off to be extremely worth it.

All the lessons were very easy to understand and in a very weird way, they made math fun sometimes. Thanks to Peace of Pi, I ended up receiving a 1440 on the SAT with a nearly perfect score on the math section of 770. This ultimately allowed me to achieve 100% Bright Futures Scholarship and increased my chances of getting into a lot of colleges that I never thought I would be able to get into.

Before signing up with Peace of Pi, I had taken 2 PSATs but didn’t notice much improvement between them. I realized I would need to study hard in order to get a higher score, especially with math as my weaker subject. I heard about Peace of Pi Learning through friends that had dramatic improvements in their scores, so I quickly contacted Peace of Pi and signed up.

Although I had only heard great things about Peace of Pi, I was really impressed with how much effort Renan and his team put into the program. I was given up-to-date SATs and homework that resembled the real exam with supplemental video explanations for all problems. Renan and his team were also always available to discuss topics I struggled with as well as provide me with test taking strategies to help improve my score.

The classes were entertaining and engaging which encouraged me to pay attention and genuinely learn. Throughout the course, I noticed my scores on practice tests steadily increasing, and I found myself understanding and retaining concepts.

At the beginning, I was getting 12-14 questions wrong, but by the end, I was getting 0-2 wrong. This drastic change puts into perspective how much I learned from the course and how helpful it truly was. With Renan’s dedication and passion towards teaching coupled with his tailored lessons, I was able to receive a score I never thought I could get. This course pushed me to actually study and apply myself, which is exactly what I needed to meet my SAT goals.

While I’ve always been good at math, SAT math was a whole different challenge for me and I knew I wouldn’t be able to get the score I wanted just from doing Khan Academy practice.

I started looking around for an SAT math tutor sophomore year, and got Renan’s number from 2 friends; after hearing all the amazing things I decided to start tutoring with him.

I’ve done two rounds of tutoring and it’s allowed me to get a 780 on the math section of the SAT, which was way way way above my goal score.

Renan was extremely knowledgeable about the SAT and I would have in no way been prepared for the SAT without his teaching, tips, tricks, and guidance. His resources are extensive and allowed me to focus on exactly what I needed to do to improve.

I’ve recommended him to countless friends and honestly think he’s the best SAT tutor for math.

During quarantine, I started studying for the SAT using Khan Academy. It’s a good resource for some, but for me, it felt unorganized, taught me new formulas that I didn’t need to know, and it didn’t go in-depth into the topics that I was struggling with. All of this made me feel unmotivated to study for the SAT. I felt like I was going into the SAT blind. When it came time for my first SAT in December 2020, I was unprepared and didn’t score well. After getting my score I realized that I needed new study tactics. I added SAT books and Youtube with Khan to get better results to no avail. I wasn’t thinking of an SAT tutor at the time because I knew they can be overpriced and not worth the investment.

That was until my friend told me about her drastic score improvement with Peace of Pi. She went up 40-70 points within the first weeks of the program; I was genuinely shocked. I have never seen progress like that before. She went on to tell me about how comfortable she felt in class, how much she was learning, and how she always had contact with their team to ask any question that came to her mind or ask for extra practice questions. It seemed too good to be true, so I was hesitant until my first meeting with Renan. He gave a thorough breakdown of the program and all the resources we were going to use. This organization along with Renan’s enthusiasm, knowledge, and understanding of the SAT (he’s taken the test 13 times!) made me very optimistic about the program.

The service I got was exceptional. The classes were easy to follow because Renan’s teaching style made them very interactive. I went up 30 points after my first class and kept going up week after week. There were times where I would score lower than the previous week on the diagnostic practice test, but Renan and his team were always there to keep me motivated after these setbacks and offer more help in the areas I struggled with outside of class.  Yes, there was a class full of people, but this experience felt personable. I was pushed to do content that helped me improve my SAT score and overall math skills.

Improving my SAT score has opened more opportunities for scholarships (100% bright futures secured!) and given me the confidence to apply for schools that look for students with higher scores. If ANYONE is looking for SAT help, I would put my money toward Peace of Pi 100%. It’s a valuable investment in your future and I guarantee that your SAT and Math skills will improve during this program.

“I now qualify for the full Bright Futures Academic Scholarship!”

The first time I took the SAT I got a score of 1270. It was a good score for my first test, but I wanted to get a minimum of a 1330 for a chance at the Bright Futures Academic Scholarship. My math score was my lowest score (580) so I was planning on focusing on that by myself.

But then, my dad heard about Renan and Peace of Pi learning through a family friend who had a good experience with the program. After meeting with Renan through Zoom, it was very obvious to us that Renan was very dedicated and super organized with his program so we decided to take the chance.

I hate math so I wasn’t exactly excited for every class and all of the work involved, but I was determined to put in the work and use as much of the help and resources Renan gave us as I could handle and I’m glad I did because it definitely paid off!

I got a 1340 on the June SAT with a 740 in math! I went up 160 points in math and I now qualify for the full Bright Futures Academic Scholarship! This lifts a huge weight off my shoulders and it’s all thanks to Renan and all of the help and resources he provides his students!

“I am forever grateful to Peace of Pi for helping me reach my dream score.”

In October, I took my first SAT with no tutoring. I got a pretty decent score for my first try, but I knew that I was capable of doing better by taking a prep course. I first heard about Peace of Pi through some friends so I decided to look into the program. I saw tons of testimonials and score improvements and I heard only good things about it, so I signed up for the March SAT prep course.

That was definitely the best decision ever. The course prepared me extremely well with all the material I needed for the math sections of the SAT. Not only was the teaching extremely detailed and covered every single topic that would appear on the SAT, but there was so much material provided for me to work with. If I ever struggled with a certain topic, I would have so many resources to chose from for extra practice. There were also many practice tests available that helped me get comfortable with the format of the test and work on my timing. Also, Renan was very attentive and always available to help when I had doubts or needed extra help. He gave the best tricks and strategies to getting a perfect score and always wanted the best for his students.

After taking the course, my math score when up 100 points. This made me extremely happy because I improved tremendously, and I am forever grateful to Peace of Pi for helping me reach my dream score. This result means so much to me because I was able to pass my goal and reach the high score that I wanted.

Before Peace of Pi Learning I was close to being completely lost. I had pretty much hit a block in the road on my path towards a good SAT score. I had been tutoring from September to December elsewhere, but it didn’t do much for me. I tried the SAT books, the YouTube videos, the online worksheets, and still my scores would not improve at all. All of this was causing me one thing: Stress. Not only could I not reach success regarding the SAT, I couldn’t focus anywhere else either. It may seem dramatic, but as a junior in high school, when you can’t do good on your SAT you begin to question the purpose of all your prior work. That was when my friend told me about Peace of Pi.

The way they described Renan and Cori’s teaching abilities and character seemed to be exactly what everyone else was lacking. They were young, energetic, and relatable, but still very knowledgeable about the SAT and thorough with their explanations. It sounded too good to be true. I had to find out for myself. So I contacted Renan immediately and set up a zoom meeting.

To be honest, a part of me was still doubting that anyone could help me, and I explained that to him when the meeting started. But as soon as I said those things, Renan said something along the lines of “Don’t worry, at least let me explain the course before you give up and then we’ll see if it’s the best fit for you”. And the instant he began explaining the course, I knew: their program was going to be amazing.

My assumptions were correct. Renan manages to keep everyone in class engaged and attentive, while also encouraging his students to do better both in and out of class. There were times where I didn’t score as well as I had wanted on his diagnostics, but he always helped me get passed that, reminding me that my improvement was not going to be linear. It was normal to have bumps along the road and the key was to not give up and continue practicing. He also reassured me that sometimes the best move was to focus on relaxing and reducing my stress, as that seemed to be one of my biggest issues. On my first SAT I received a 190 point increase on my math section, which then went up another 30 points on the test I took one week later and then a final 20 points on my third attempt. It was something I had never even thought of happening. . Renan has a talent for teaching– something many people do not have. Not only that, but he cares for his students more than anyone I have seen before. I can 100% guarantee he will not let you down.

Before Peace of Pi, I was so scared and stressed about the SAT. The date was approaching and I didn’t know what to do to prepare; I tried Khan Academy but it was really inaccurate and I tried studying on my own but I couldn’t motivate myself. Then, my friend gave me Renan’s contact and I immediately contacted him.

When I had my meeting, my mom and I were inspired by his words and he gave me hope that I could get a good score for the first time. He started believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Even though I joined 4 weeks late, Renan helped me catch up with all the content I missed and pushed me to do my best.

After the remaining 6 weeks, I felt more confident going into the test and got better results than I expected. I went up 160 points which was an unbelievable improvement for me, all thanks to Renan’s teaching that made me want to learn for 3 hours straight at 9 am.

“…Every topic covered appeared in some way on the test.”

When December of 2020 came around, I realized that I needed to start studying and preparing myself to take the SAT. Since I had been scoring much lower on the math sections of the PSAT and other practice tests than in the reading, I recognized I would need extra help to achieve the high math scores I wanted on the actual SAT.

Soon after I spoke to my mom, she began asking around for tutoring services until a coworker recommended we reach out to Peace of Pi Learning. Upon contacting them, Renan was quick to schedule a meeting where he would explain what the course entailed and address our questions. I decided to join the tutoring as it was the best thing I could do for myself and my scores, but also because Renan was so welcoming and organized.

There were practice tests, reviews, homework, study guides, and countless other helpful resources made accessible during the tutoring. The sessions were never boring or pointless; almost every topic covered appeared in some way on the test. Renan made the concepts easy to remember and always provided extra practice or elaborated further if we did not completely grasp a topic during the lesson. It was also extremely reassuring to have a teacher who truly cared about their students understanding the material and succeeding.

On the last PSAT I took, I scored a 570 on the math section. Coming out of the SAT, I scored a 750. I went up 180 points in the math section thanks to the countless resources and long hours dedicated to my tutoring. I am so thankful for Renan’s hard work and commitment that allowed me to reach a score I could have never imagined getting without Peace of Pi Learning. With these results, I now have the score to qualify for the 100% Florida Bright Futures Scholarship. I feel confident in applying to colleges and feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

I am eternally grateful for Peace of Pi Learning and what they have helped me accomplish. I advise anyone looking to do well in their SAT to sign up because your scores will take you so far and make all of your effort worth it.
