Hey, I’m Neal Zikiri, a senior at Don Soffer Aventura High School. Let me share why I turned to Peace of Pi for SAT Math tutoring, and how it transformed my approach to standardized testing!

Before joining Peace of Pi, I spent months in SAT tutoring sessions with minimal score improvement. Despite countless hours of study, my scores only increased by like +20 points. Living in Florida, where SAT scores heavily influence college admissions, I knew I needed a change. The turning point came when a fellow student, Izzy, shared her remarkable score improvement after working with Peace of Pi.

My previous SAT attempts left me feeling frustrated and limited in my college options. I knew I could do better, but the traditional tutoring model wasn’t providing the support I needed. One-hour sessions felt too short, and I struggled to retain what I learned. Despite being good at math, I realized that my foundational knowledge, particularly in algebra, needed reinforcement.

Peace of Pi’s virtual group environment exceeded my expectations. Unlike traditional tutoring, where I often felt disconnected and unengaged, the interactive sessions kept me motivated and challenged. The small group setting ensured personalized attention, and the collaborative learning environment encouraged peer support.

What truly set Peace of Pi apart was their emphasis on accountability and practice. Daily assignments and active participation ensured consistent progress and retention of concepts. Unlike my previous experience, where knowledge seemed fleeting, Peace of Pi’s structured approach ensured lasting comprehension and skill development.

The results spoke for themselves. With Peace of Pi’s guidance, I achieved a score of 700, a significant improvement from my initial 580. This transformative experience not only boosted my confidence but also expanded my college options. With my new competitive SAT score, I applied to a range of top-tier universities, confident in my abilities and potential.

Peace of Pi’s approach to SAT math tutoring not only elevated my scores but also instilled in me a sense of resilience and determination. Thank you, Peace of Pi, for empowering students like me to achieve their academic goals and unlock their full potential.

I’m David Ramirez, a senior at La Salle. My SAT journey began with frustration and stagnation as I found myself unable to improve my score despite all the effort I was putting in. After scoring a 1310 on my initial SAT, followed by another 1310 on my next attempt, I realized I needed guidance to break through this plateau.

In early 2023, feeling disheartened by my lack of progress, I decided to seek help. Hearing success stories from friends who had done Peace of Pi’s tutoring program convinced me to give it a try. Witnessing their score improvements, including one friend who jumped from a 1250 to a 1440, motivated me to join Peace of Pi.

What drew me to Peace of Pi was the promise of structure and support, something I lacked in my self-study attempts. As someone who struggled with staying focused and avoiding distractions, I recognized the need for a structured approach to studying, which Peace of Pi offered!

Initially skeptical about virtual group learning, I soon realized that the program worked perfectly under this format. The emphasis on repetition and practice was so valuable, helping me recognize patterns and tackle SAT questions with confidence.

One of the most significant challenges I faced was managing the workload. As someone accustomed to procrastination, I initially struggled to stay on top of assignments. However, the reminders and support from the Peace of Pi team helped me establish a more disciplined approach to studying.

I’m Clarisa Ponte, a senior at La Salle, and I turned to Peace of Pi for SAT Math tutoring after experiencing minimal score improvement with another tutoring service. My initial score of 630 left me feeling disappointed, considering math has always been my stronger subject, and I had expected better results.

My biggest struggle was in mastering the test format and managing time effectively. I had completed Pre Calc Honors and always excelled in math throughout my academic career, so I felt frustrated by my inability to achieve my desired score… until I found Peace of Pi, of course!

I was initially skeptical about virtual group learning, given my past experience doing online classes. However, the interactive and collaborative environment fostered by Peace of Pi proved to be really effective. Small group sessions facilitated active participation, while the personalized attention from instructors like Vicky made for a supportive learning atmosphere.

What distinguished Peace of Pi from previous tutoring experiences was the emphasis on practice and homework. Unlike other programs where we skimmed over a few problems, Peace of Pi’s approach involved extensive practice, helping us master each and every skill. The workload was demanding, with approximately ten assignments per week, but I managed it by dedicating time each day to complete them, and it all paid off!

The result was a significant score improvement of 140 points, adding up to a final score of 770! This achievement not only exceeded my expectations but also opened doors to academic opportunities that once seemed so far out of reach. With my new and improved SAT Math score, I now confidently pursue my dream of studying engineering, with top choices including Georgia Tech and UF.

Reflecting on my journey with Peace of Pi, I am immensely grateful for the transformative impact it has had. The program’s commitment to excellence and tailored approach to SAT Math preparation are unparalleled, making it a vital resource for any student striving to maximize their potential. These assignments not only reinforced classroom learning but also provided ample practice to tackle SAT questions confidently. The instructors, with their consistent teaching methods and unwavering support, played a pivotal role in my progress. Their commitment to ensuring active participation during virtual sessions made the learning experience interactive and enjoyable.

My name is Rodrigo Blanco, and I’m a Belen Jesuit senior. Initially, I approached Peace of Pi for SAT Math tutoring after realizing the need to raise my math score beyond what I was at. When I first took the SAT, I kind of just took it blind without trying any tutoring, and I got a 640. It wasn’t a bad score, but I wanted it to be higher so that my score would align with my academic aspirations.

Before discovering Peace of Pi, I had started this other prep, and I thought it was going pretty well. However, my results didn’t show that I was really learning much. I only had a 30-point increase, so obviously, I knew I had to do something else.Dissatisfied with these results, I turned to Peace of Pi!

I never liked the idea of Zoom learning because I had done it before during COVID. Honestly, I was scared to go into it. But my parents told me I had to give it a shot, and I’m so glad I did! In the end, the virtual group lessons proved to be super beneficial. The collaborative learning environment let me hear diverse perspectives, deepening my understanding of math concepts. I found myself engaged and focused the whole time!

Hello! I’m Dakota Rosher, a senior at Miami Palmetto Senior High. “I decided to invest my time in studying for a better future. The tutors’ dedication and the program’s effectiveness have left an indelible mark on my academic journey, preparing me for a future filled with opportunities.”

My name is Valeria Kaswalder, and as a senior at Robert Morgan Educational Center, I sought help with my SAT preparation. The realization hit when I noticed the expectations of colleges regarding SAT scores, and my own scores fell short. Despite taking two SATs, with a 1260 on pen and paper and a 1320 on the digital version, my motivation to study independently was lacking. I recognized the need for improvement, particularly in math, where I scored 570 on pen and paper and 660 on the digital test.

Unable to retake the digital test and aim for a score in the 1400s to 1500s, I decided to seek tutoring. Prior attempts at self-study and tutoring elsewhere proved ineffective, leaving me feeling lost and unmotivated. The lack of clarity in understanding crucial math concepts, aggravated by disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, left me struggling with basics like factoring.

Before the pandemic, I was an average math student, competent but not passionate about the subject. The virtual learning environment during the pandemic exacerbated my struggles with understanding, as the teaching methods failed to resonate with me. The frustration peaked when vital concepts were rushed, assuming prior knowledge that I had missed during the lockdown.

Upon learning about the tutoring service through a friend of my mom’s, I delved deep into their Instagram, impressed by the evident results in score improvements. With a summer devoid of plans, I decided to invest my time in studying for a better future.Joining the virtual group environment exceeded my expectations. Initially expecting larger groups, the smaller, interactive sessions kept me engaged and focused. This stark contrast to the disengaged learning during the pandemic provided a refreshing and effective approach.

My tutor, Cori, played a significant role in my progress. Her dedicated approach, meticulous error analysis, and occasional stories about her dog created a personalized and enriching learning experience. The live chat feature facilitated interaction and feedback, making the learning process more dynamic.

The intensive nature of the course demanded effort, but the support and guidance provided by the tutors made it worthwhile. The emphasis on shortcuts, especially for SAT math, and the abundance of practice questions mirroring the actual SATs were instrumental in my improvement.

Ultimately, my initial score of 570 rose to an impressive 730, marking a 160-point increase. This accomplishment secured my eligibility for 100% Bright Futures and opened doors to numerous colleges, including UCF, Florida Tech, Stetson, and others. My newfound confidence in my math skills has met and exceeded my expectations.

Reflecting on this transformative journey, I express deep gratitude for the course that reignited my interest in math and helped me achieve scores that seemed unattainable before. The tutors’ dedication and the program’s effectiveness have left an indelible mark on my academic journey, preparing me for a future filled with opportunities.

“I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Peace of Pi Learning. Looking back, I took a big risk enrolling in virtual SAT prep, but the reward has been life-changing.”

Hi! My name is Julio Nunez. I’m a Belen Jesuit Junior and tutored with Peace of Pi! I had always considered myself pretty decent at math and could get by in my classes without too much extra effort. However, my PSAT math scores in 9th and 10th grade told a different story. It was the wake-up call that I needed to get serious about prep if I wanted to achieve my SAT goals.

I knew I liked math and had the potential to improve dramatically if I brushed up on foundational concepts from earlier grades that I’d long forgotten. The problem was I didn’t have time between sports, clubs, and social commitments to self-study properly. I needed guidance from experts. That’s when a senior at my school, Diego Gonzalez, suggested I look into Peace of Pi Learning’s SAT math prep program. He attributed his own high score to their summer intensive course. I was intrigued but hesitant – would virtual classes keep me focused? Could I really improve that much in a few short months?

Still, I took the leap and signed up, knowing that dedicating my summer would give me an edge over my peers. The structured curriculum ensured I stayed on track even when I lacked motivation. My instructor patiently filled in gaps in Algebra, Geometry, and more that had hindered me in the past.

The virtual format brought unexpected benefits. Being grouped with students at my same level let me progress faster through concepts. Chatting and exchanging strategies online built a great environment. I realized how much I could gain from collaborative learning versus studying alone. By the end of the summer, my skills and confidence had skyrocketed. I scored a 750 on the first SAT, then 760, before hitting that perfect 800! This far exceeds my goal of 100-point improvement. Peace of Pi’s seasoned instructors and proven teaching methods catalyzed my success.

Looking back, I took a big risk enrolling in virtual SAT prep, but the reward has been life-changing. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Peace of Pi Learning. Their expert faculty and comprehensive curriculum empowered me to reach my potential. If you’re on the fence, take a leap of faith—with their guidance, you, too, can crush your SAT math goals!
