I began taking the Peace of Pi prep course in the early months of my junior year to prepare for the December SAT. Junior year had just started, and I wanted to take advantage of every moment I had to study. My goal was to achieve a strong score in one section of the SAT first, and I decided to focus on the math section.
Before joining Peace of Pi, I had a personal tutor, but it wasn’t effective. I needed something more organized that would hold me accountable for my homework and maximize my time. Without a structured program, I found myself procrastinating during study sessions, and I realized I needed a strict and well-scheduled course to help me stay on track.
A friend recommended Peace of Pi, sharing how much it had helped them achieve excellent results. I decided to join because I wanted to make sure I did everything I could to start my junior year on the right foot and avoid any regrets about what I could’ve done differently.
The course was invaluable and engaging. Initially, I was skeptical about virtual learning and worried I might get distracted during Zoom sessions. However, Peace of Pi completely exceeded my expectations. The small group environment and the engaging teachers made the experience incredibly effective. The tutors consistently asked questions, explained problems thoroughly, and ensured I understood everything I struggled with. Being online wasn’t a disadvantage at all—it was actually one of the most efficient learning experiences I’ve had.
The group learning environment was also a pleasant surprise. It was a small group of about five students, all working at the same level, which allowed me to go at a comfortable pace and ensured I mastered the material. Our tutor was amazing—he kept the class entertaining and provided great explanations for all of our questions.
Thanks to Peace of Pi, my math score improved significantly, going from a 470 to a 650. Seeing my hard work pay off and watching my score increase was the best feeling. This result qualified me for 75% Bright Futures, and I’m excited to continue improving my score throughout the year using the Peace of Pi materials, like their SAT PDFs.
