+260 points on the SAT Math!

“…at Peace of Pi, I was introduced to every possible question type. I was actually learning, not just memorizing.”

I felt completely stuck with my SAT math score before joining Peace of Pi. Initially, I took the test just to see where I stood, and when I got my PSAT score back, it was terrible—like actually terrible. I tried another tutoring service, but they only focused on general concepts and never really explained the specifics of different question types. I went through the whole process, took my SAT, and saw no improvement in math. That’s when I realized I needed something better.

A friend recommended Peace of Pi, and I told my mom, “I need to do something about this. This is my future.” Signing up was the best decision I could have made.

From the start, the experience was different. With my old tutoring, I was only shown a few types of questions, but at Peace of Pi, I was introduced to every possible question type. I was actually learning, not just memorizing. The virtual group learning environment surprised me too—I thought I wouldn’t pay attention, but the tutors kept us engaged, calling on us and making sure we understood everything. They didn’t just teach—they explained why things worked, which was something I never got in school.

I won’t lie—the workload was a lot. I had heard that if you’re going to do Peace of Pi, you need to actually commit, and that was true. There were moments when I felt overwhelmed and wanted to give up, but I kept going. I prioritized my SAT prep, even doing assignments during free time at school. In the end, the hard work paid off—I improved my math score by 260 points, from a 460 to a 720.

This score changed everything for me. Before, I thought my best option was UCF, but now I feel like I have a real shot at FSU and other top schools. It opened up opportunities I never thought were possible, and I couldn’t be happier.
