+100 points on the SAT Math!
“Math went from being my weakest subject to something I actually feel confident in.”
Before joining Peace of Pi, I hadn’t taken the SAT yet and honestly didn’t even understand how the questions worked or what to expect. I had tried a bit of self-studying, but I wasn’t very consistent with it—especially since math has always been one of my weaker subjects. I decided to take this course to get familiar with the SAT and learn how to approach the math section better.
At first, I was a little nervous because everyone said it was a lot of work, and it really is. It kept me super busy over the summer, especially since I also had vacation plans. But I managed by communicating with my tutors in the group chat and making a set schedule. I would separate specific days just for Peace of Pi work, and that helped a lot.
Even though the classes were virtual and in groups, I actually really liked how they grouped students by level. It made me feel more comfortable because everyone was around the same place I was. The tutors were amazing: super qualified and explained everything step by step. I also really liked the study guides, the little tips and tricks (especially the calculator ones), and the mock tests. Those really helped me understand what to expect and how to manage my time on the test.
Math went from being my weakest subject to something I actually feel confident in. My math score improved by 100 points, from a 530 to a 630! Overall, it was a 140-point jump from my first mock exam. That gave me so much motivation to keep improving and showed me that I really can do better if I stay focused.
Yes, it’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it. If you’re serious about improving and willing to put in the time, this program will definitely help you. My advice to other students is simple: stay focused, make the time, and don’t give up. It’s a lot, but it’s absolutely worth it in the end.
